Katy Perry keeps it sexy in a red Marco Marco jumpsuit while performing her hit song “Firework” at the 2010 American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (November 21) in Los Angeles.
The 26-year-old pop star finished off her look with Charlotte Olympia pumps and Suzanne Felsen fire opal earrings.
After her performance, Katy joined her husband Russell Brand in the audience. She kept it cute in a Pucci dress and Jimmy Choo heels.

Umm, she has major camel toe. I do love her though, but I agree with uju the choir was a lot better than katy at singing. :S
Horrible, HORRIBLE vocals. Seems she didn’t warm up her voice enough. Are the kids from the group Libera? They sound like it.

Wow, just listened to it and must say, one of the worst vocals I have ever heard. Wow. Off key the whole time. I think I can sing better. Yikes.
One word: HORRIBLE. There was such a build up – the choir made it seem like such a promising performance. But quite frankly, the choir was probably the best and only good part of that entire performance. Completely OFF KEY the entire time. Why write and compose a song you cannot sing?

I find it hilarious that there is an ad for Revolve clothing–awesome btw—and one of the gorgeous models in it is one of Russell’s old girlfriends, one that he actually was with for a really long time and dumped probably because she’s just a model and doesn’t have money or couldn’t do anything for his career like Katy did. There was a tell-all where they basically said he cheated on her with a groupie and a stripper and dumped her because wouldn’t join in he couldn’t handle having really a beautiful girlfriend and only liked having dirty sex with ugly girls. I’m not kidding. He told her that. And he totally sounded like the worst boyfriend ever, a complete sicko pervert and super needy like he wouldn’t let her leave his house for the whole summer. She was really upset by it at the time but girl got a lucky escape, bet she’s laughing now. LMAO!!! Oh and Katy, you’re really looking good, but dump this loser and start dating a vocal coach. Your singing has seriously suffered. You used to be awesome and focused. Get back on track!!! Come on, make us long time fans proud again. You should have given the best performance on this show. Get a man that supports you by pushing you to be the best you can be, not sitting there laughing his ass off at you while you struggle.

I love Katy Perry, but the vocals were pretty bad here. It’s an amazing song though, wouldn’t expect something so inspirational from Katy Perry. Even though the vocals were bad, and people will probably give her crap for that for a while, the performance was really good, and bad comments won’t do anything to Katy Perry, because I don’t see her leaving the music industry any time too soon. Katy Perry didn’t perform her best, but she’s still amazing!

I’m glad I’m not the only one that thought her vocals were terrible! I guess that’s why they tried to drown her out with the background vocals. lol.
Ok…this isn’t her best performance or her best vocal performance at the beginning. What happened to her voice? I thought it was better than that. =(
