@bangbang: Thats because Beyonce’s dad is on the grammy committee and doesn’t allow anyone with talent or good music…thats why xtina, Britney, Madonna and Mariah Carey NEVER get nominated.

@Caitlyn: Keep in mind that when the jo bros were “burning up” the carts Adele took home the award for Best New Artist. I really hope Justin Beiber does not win I will lose my faith in music if that happens.

Look at this list!!! It’s a damn shame. Sade is ONE OF the only true and reputable artist nominated. The music industry is a zombie.

Grammies has gone to the dogs! It use to be the only award ceremony that nominated people with true talent. Those days are clearly beyond us.

I really have a lot of respect for Justin Bieber, & I wish others could have some too. He was a kid, still a kid in his teens, wanted to live his dream, and is doing that now. He obviously has talent. Just watch his old youtube videos. The kid has mad vocals, even if his voice is changing now. Artists such as Katy Perry are just obsessed with making things LOOK good- lots of bright colors, lots of dancers, she’s even gorgeous, but when you listen to her sing, it’s not good and always off pitch. That’s the problem these days, everything is adjusted to look awesome and produced with autotune. When someone sings live, it’s a mess. I pray for the revival of the music industry. Bring back Brit, Madonna, Mariah, Backstreet Boys, etc. But Bieber, he’s good.

I was glad to see who was nominated in the Best Rap Album because it included real rappers that talked about more than just shaking your a**, doing drugs, and f**king, but I was disappointed to see that there was no Best Female Contemporary R&B album because Monica should have definitely been in there. There aren’t really any real R&B singers left but the category should’ve included Erykah Badu, Monica, Janelle Monae, and Jasmine Sullivan if she made the cut off.

How the hell did Katy Perry get nominated for Album of the Year? I can see Best Pop Collaboration (which was not a category), but Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals? Katy is a god awful singer. I can’t believe how horrible she sounds live. Maybe they were judging on her studio fixed vocals. Besides that, I’m glad to see that the bubblegum artists such as Rihanna, Justin Beiber, Lady Gaga, and even Katy Perry had very few nominations. It seems like the Grammys decided to nominate the more talented people who we barely hear of. With that said, I’m also surprised they didn’t nominate Kesha. She sucks big time but it would make sense for them to put “Tik Tok” in the categories Song of the Year and record of the Year since it made history and became the catchiest song of this year.

It’s a relief to know that, thx.
But considering he has to at least beat MJ and Bruno to get the award, I would say it’s a slim chance… : (
And I’d say his album is wayyyyyyyyyy better than Teenage Dream or some crappy My World 2.0…….. Grammy just doesn’t like him…
