On making romantic comedies: “I love romantic comedies. I watch them all the time. I love all my fellow female romantic comedy queens, like Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner and Katie Heigl. I also think that the questions romantic comedies ask about men and women are universal.”

anyone else surprised Morning Glory didn’t do better? I thought it looked like a great vehicle for her.

I was surprised he and Lorraine lasted as long as they did, considering the relationship was a long distance one. She was never going to move to America because of her work. He wasn’t going to leave Lily for extended periods of time either.

I’d like to see Michael settle down. But Kate once said he’s not the marrying kind. I believe it. He spent 7-8 years with Kate and never proposed. That still boggles the mind. He spent what, five years with Lorraine, and never proposed. If he hasn’t gotten married by now, he never will.

I’ll give this relationship a year. If they make two years, I’ll be shocked.

I like them as a couple. Many people don’t, because he doesn’t look like typical Hollywood hottie and what’s the most important – he isn’t Ryan Gosling, but Rachel and Ryan are’t together and it’s time to get over their relationship. Michael is very intelligent, kind and talented man and I think she’s lucky to have him. He doesn’t need to be on the sexiest or best dressed list to attract women.

She’s in love! I think they are great together.

They seem right together.

NOSE JOB – RACHEL MCADAMS

Rachel McAdams Nosejob?

MakemeHeal Question:

Rachel McAdams is 30 and her nose seems to be very pointed and slightly askew
Before
After
Looks like trauma plus or minus surgery to me. Her nose became narrow at the tip and a bit off to the side. Some nasal surgery is not strictly cosmetic. Maybe she had some nasal trauma?

Scarlett Johansson Joins Damon in ‘Zoo’

Published by Jeff Leins on November 5, 2010
Scarlett Johansson is in final negotiations to play the female lead alongside Matt Damon in We Bought a Zoo, the next film from Cameron Crowe (Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous).
The story, based on the memoirs of Benjamin Mee, is about a recently widowed man and single father who moves his family to a beautiful sprawling estate for a fresh start. But a condition of the sale is an old, dilapidated zoo and the retention of its staff. Mee and his family refurbish the zoo to its former glory as a sanctuary for endangered animals, and grow closer together as a result.

Johansson’s role was not named in Deadline’s report, but she’s undoubtedly playing Kelly, the head zookeeper. She won the role over Amy Adams, Rachel McAdams, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who were rumored to be in the mix.

Us Rating: **

Becky (Rachel McAdams) gets her dream job: producer of a Today-style show. The problem is, the gig is at Daybreak, which is plagued with dismal ratings and a diva anchor (Diane Keaton). The excellent McAdams — in a leading role she has deserved for years — charms with her caffeinated energy. She makes 10 decisions a minute and strong-arms a hard news reporter (Harrison Ford) into taking a role as Keaton’s cohost, a post he loathes.

For a few scenes, the three actors exchange entertaining blows. But the script, penned by the writer who adapted The Devil Wears Prada for the screen, lacks that hit’s bitchy bite. Instead, it plods along as Becky romances a producer (Patrick Wilson) and fights to avoid being canceled. When she finally gets her big idea, it’s this clunker: Go goofier. So she puts her weatherman on a roller coaster and has Keaton dance with 50 Cent. But hasn’t morning TV been filled with these antics for years? Her producing wouldn’t win any Emmys — and the movie won’t earn too many fans.
