Willow Smith breaks out her holiday spirit with a performance of her hit song, Whip My Hair, at the 2010 Holiday Tree Lighting at L.A. Live on Saturday (December 4) in Los Angeles.
The 10-year-old daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith pumped up the crowd along with other performers including Seal, Pauly D, Jessica Lowndes and Stevie Wonder.

Her parents shouldn’t have pushed her into the industry. She’s only 10, let her enjoy her childhood.

@AJ: I agree, they should know that the entertainment industry is no place for a 10 year old. Willow is clearly a talented girl – I don’t see why they couldn’t have waited for a few more years.

She is to young to be in the industry. Granted she comes from a famous family that can pull the strings for her. But saying that she should be enjoying her childhood.

Willow Smith is already a mover and shaker in her own right, with considerable sway and influence. She’s empowered, not marginalized, as some would prefer.
She was among peers at the AMAs.
She’s 10, and she already seems to have a good head on her shoulders, she seems to handle the media, fans, just fine. Her parents and her brother all in movies and music so it’s like she’s just being pushed into this. She seems very comfortable and I’m not going to pick out her like some ***** on this site. She’s 10, leave her alone. Hope she’s having fun.
Her song is so HIDEOUS that if it comes on the radio when I’m driving, I have to swerve to park or I will start having a seizure. SHE IS A DANGER TO SOCIETY!
