I love Hugh, but this looks like c.r.a.p.

Real Steel is produced by Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis, based on Richard Matheson novel. This movie has a peculiarity the robots are real, no special effects. The story will not be focused on fighting but on the difficult relationship between a father and his son. Nothing to do with Rocky or Transformers.

Looks like Robot Wars and Rock em Sock em Robots. I dont think it’ll do good.

I had a chance to read a first draft of the script when it was still online –

What the trailer does not show is the real drama underlying the robot boxing scenes — it is a story of redemption of a washed-up boxer who reconnects with his son as they try to conquer the robot boxing arena. It is like ROCKY and PAPER MOON combined, with the exciting battle scenes of combat that is as ancient as the blood sports in the coliseums of Rome!

Looking forward to this one!

I don’t like action type movies. But I’ll rent it to fap to Hugh.

I want to buy a tcket now. I’ll see anything with Hugh in it. Looks cool to me. I also heard the script was good.

oh man…I was wondering why the h3ll Hugh got on this mess when I first read about it, but seeing it now I only feel even more stressed :/

Hmm, Optimus has changed a bit. I like Hugh Jackman so anything he’s in I’ll see it, but if Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis are attached to this project it’s not going to be crap.

wasn’t this an episode from the simpsons? where homer bond with bart through a robot fighter?

I love him to bits…but WHEN? oh WHEN?! will he start acting in some good, serious movies?! SERIOUSLY? It’s about time he actually pushed himself as an actor before his looks fade away :( !!

The only reason I’m going to see this is because of Hugh Jackman.
