Willow Smith Whips Her Hair at Highline Ballroom

Willow Smith performs her hit single, “Whip My Hair,” at the Highline Ballroom in New York City on Saturday (December 11).

The 10-year-old entertainer took part in the Power 105.1 Power Live Holiday Party with Mindless Behavior! “Thanks to @MindlessBhavior and everyone who came and whipped their hair today in NY! I had SO much fun (:” Willow tweeted yesterday.

Audience members got free admission to the show for donating a toy to Toys for Tots. The crowd brought so many toys that the organization left with two truck loads!

Earlier in the weekend, Willow watched big brother Jaden perform with Justin Bieber at Z100′s Jingle Ball!

She’s way to young to be performing (at 9 years old she doesnt even know who she is yet; let alone be a fashionista/celebrity) Instead she should be in school…To be honest she isnt even that talented…way too much attitude.

  • anthony

Shouldn’t this kid be in the JR section??

  • marq

What serious talent. Lordy, can she ever ensorcell. She is so bewitching. If Elle Fanning can make Vanity Fair, how long before Willow does or makes Rolling Stone, for that matter?

  • Kiki

My bad …lol 10 years old:)

  • marq

@anthony: Of course she should be there, on JJJr, and is. She rocks here too. Big time talent story.

  • marq

@Kiki: Didn’t you read the post, “Jennifer Hudson: Ambassador For Humanity”, about the USC Shoah Foundation Institutes‘ mission is to overcome prejudice, intolerance, and bigotry, and the suffering they cause?

Ageism is a vile, curséd thing.

  • ll

    is she a scientologist too?

  • marq

@ll: If not, then she’s a natural “Clear”.

  • ABC

I thought it was Jaden Smith at first…

  • psychic

justin biber is ten thousand times better.

  • ll

    @marq: what?

  • marq

@ll: Scientology’s “Clear” = sans engrams, the preferred state.

  • ll

    @marq: huh?

  • BB

This is Jada living vicariously through her daughter, who is not that talented. Will Smith, yes, the rest, not so much but they have the $$$ to roll so they do.

  • marq

@BB: I was thinking more along the lines that these billionaires who have suddenly become aware of the ever-growing angry groundswell uprising against them and who are accordingly increasingly promising to give away their embarrassing vast fortunes, need to release several billions to say a committee of the likes of Willow Smith, Joey King, Noah Cyrus, et. al, and give the kids room to reshape the world, rather than continuing to live large on the stolen posterity from future generations that built their ill-begotten fortunes to begin with.

  • kirstifl

She might be performing by dancing…but not singing. She is no better than any other 10 year old singing into a hairbrush in the mirror…give me a break. Studio magic……

  • eternalozzie

turning your 10 yo daughter into a revenue stream should be crimminal.

  • Jokergurl

I didn’t know they let minors near ballrooms or lounges. Oh well, if she enjoys herself, why not? Celebrity kids like Willow Smith have private tutors wherever they go, school tutors she’s not skipping school.
@ eternalozze they don’t need Willow as a “revenue stream” Will Smith makes 30 MILLION a movie, plus royalties, and he’s produced big movies too like Men in Black for starters.

  • helen

wait a second, the song started before she grabbed the mike, so she wasn’t really singing herself? I mean I know it’s her, it just wasn’t live

  • boston61

And the rich get richer. And the rest of us get sh*t. And we are so stupid that we become fans of rich peoples kids getting richer.

  • dawn

why isn’t this child in school?
