Why do you bother having JustJared Jr if you are going to pollute JJ with these kids.

This little boy is amazing !

I do think this boy is extremely talented, his version of Paparazzi blew me away. Still, why aren’t kids allowed to be kids these days? Why can’t he go to school and wait with a career until he’s, say, 18?

The kid is certainly not talentless but he is only 12 and it amazes me that iEllen Degenneres would start a record label just to let him make a record..He got a lot of hits on youtube. That is certainly not a guarantee of commercial success. To be honest I do not find him to be that amazing at all. I guess that little girls may like him but i can’t see a lot of adults going out to buy his music. I teach Grade 7 and none of the kids are even interested in him at all and they are all into music. I guess only time will tell. I certainly don’t wish the kid any ill will but I can’t see him being a performer with staying power.

@Frida: When you have a dream and you don’t see yourself as a kid and you want to have the chance to start your career as soon as possible despite being a kid , you would do it. That’s the way he wants to spend his young life.

Its a lot of hits……………and it took a lot of money, and successful veteran industry insiders to manufacture and concoct that FAKE STAGED VIDEO that got those millions of hits……………….just like the fake mobbing of the kid in the video. But watching a Youtube vid costs nothing…………this is a more palatable version of the kid in the runaway balloon.

Its all so fkd up now that the public doesn’t know what is real and what is not. “PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN”…

@Get Real: You have hit the nail right on the head. It is all about the hype and the machine that controls the hype.

@Get Real: Get Real, get real: not everything’s a conspiracy. The video of his first single (above) is a little forced, but the original video on YouTube was 100% legit. Plus, the version of Paparazzi on the EP that was released today is about 200% better than the YouTube video. Why not like/dislike the music instead of imagining aliens, etc., behind all the hoo-haw.

He sounds pretty good to me, he’s not a flat singer, hey if it makes him some money, allows him less stress when he gets into college or whatever, more power to him. I wish him luck. Who says YouTube can’t make someone famous? How do you think Mike Posner got where he is? YouTube Justin Timberlake saw his video, and gave him a record contract, he’s got videos on MTV, awards, on his way, that’s how it starts. :)

The original youtube video of this kid was staged, and everyone in the music business is aware of this.

* Professional video techniques such as cutaways and edit.
* A lack of complaints about copyright infringement from big names whose work is being copied.
* Associated Facebook pages and Twitter feeds that appear suddenly.
* Swift access to top news and other media outlets and immediate availability of talent to travel and be interviewed.

One day, young Greyson is in math class; the next on a Hollywood soundstage and being linked to Madonna’s manager.

No aliens here pal, just industry spin miesters doing what they do.

Every major music industry message board has posts exposing this video for what it is. Take your pick, go to one of them and post your alien theory and see what you get for answers.

The original Youtube video was staged and everyone in the music business knows that as fact. His manager doesn’t even deny it.

Fake viral campaigns have become a ploy of the modern age, says writer and television producer

If you think that video was not fake then simply go to anyone of the major music industry forums and post that you think it wasn’t, and have it explained with all the names behind it, and this kid.

Interscope was behind the whole thing. The video is staged. Within 50,000 hits or some such verifiable number it was published he was signed, long before it was truly viral. The timing doesn’t add up for the yahoo blurbs etc., nor does the video. The manager brought this kid to the label a few months ago (before Youtube). The public is supposed to be duped.

With the ubiquity of the celebrity/gossip blog culture we are living in its getting easier and easier to dupe the public if you have the connections and money and in this case someone clearly did

The kid is obviously more talented than Bieber.

However This is a total ruse.

Greyson is just amazing!! he has a wonderful voice just love it!! he has a great smile and he’s just so cute!!

This song sounds a lot like Jar of Hearts, but he’s talented.

Hi my name is Sarah and Greyson chance is a very goof singer and he has a very fearm voice.he sings just like Cody dumdum or Justin bieber.but I really hope he keeps writing good songs like the one that he has alert Rowe outsaid the lains and if he keeps on writing good songs like he’s doing alot of girls will like him,go on a tour and be dames more than he is alrety.Greyson keep it up and one last thing I have to say your really talented.

OMG! I love Greyson Chance. He’s either exactly my age (I think he’s 13) or younger than me. This song is sooooo amazing. He has such a strong (yeas, I know what a strong voice is like) voice. I go to bed listening to this song and smile because it’s so inspiring and makes me feel good. I love how his face scrunches up and his freckles. He is NOT anything like that Justin Beiber kid (Yes, I HATE JB). He is WAY better.
This song is SO SUPER inspiring to me. My dream and my friends have our own band (My Anthem) and it feels nice to know that there’s someone out there who is our age and achieved their dream. So now I know that we cna get to our goal and it doesn’t matter how old we are. We’re a singer/songwriter rock/punk/emo (NOT cutters) band and it’s very hard to even get as famous as All Itme Low (We’re heavily influenced by them).
GO Greyson!!! You’re an AMAZING singer and I’m a huge fan. Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re not good. Been there, done that, and my life went everywhere. GC forEVER!
