OlderGwyneth Paltrow Joining 'Rock of Ages' Movie?
There’s a chance Gwyneth Paltrow may be signing on for the big-screen version of Rock of Ages!
“I just got the script … but it sounds like it could be fun,” the 38-year-old actress told EW.
While Gwyn hasn’t officially accepted the offer, Hairspray‘s Adam Shankman is set to direct the film version of the hit Broadway musical.
If she signs on for the project, Gwyneth might be teaming up with Tom Cruise who is in discussions for a supporting role.

I don’t know why but I wouldn’t go see either one in a movie, especially Tom. Gweneth seems so phony to me.
Gwyneth doesn’t like Tom Cruise. The chances of the two of them appearing in the same movie are slim.
Why not use the Broadway cast, who made it a hit??
Aniston is upset about Gwyneth breaking out as a true singer. She wanted to go this direction; but, in fact, she cannot sing as well as Gwyneth.

Oh god she is really going for this whole singing thing isn’t she. We get it Gwen, you can sing. This is just like her whole speaking Spanish thing, and using every opportunity to remind us that she is apparently the only non-native Spanish speaker to ever speak Spanish. I supposed I am biased, cause she is the one celebrity I really can not stand. She just seems so smug about everything she does.
I think she’d be good for the role of Regina. Nothing else though.
