OlderScarlett Johansson Jets to Jamaica Post Split
Scarlett Johansson enjoys a sunny day with some gal pals on Tuesday (December 14) in Jamaica.
The 26-year-old actress enjoyed a holiday with her friends the same day she and Ryan Reynolds announced they were separating.
“There’s no third party,” a source told People about the couple’s decision to split.
“Ryan and Scarlett had been having some issues for a few months now. Distance and their careers played a big role. When you don’t spend a lot of time with your partner you grow apart,” added the source.
Ryan, 34, meanwhile has been filming a movie in Atlanta.

You know thats really sad about them, divorce is awful. But what do these celebrities expect? Its hard for normal couples with normal jobs to keep a marriage together. Now add fame, temptation and lots of traveling..theres no way. Im glad they didnt have children, but to all celebrities if you want to have a marriage work marry a normal person, youve got a better chance with that.
On the flip side, Wooo! Ryan Reynolds is single, Im gonna need to roam the streets of Atlanta looking for him.

I agree Kate,they should marry normal people NOT in the entertainment business.The difference is tremendous!!People are just spolied nowadays,they don’t want to work on their relationships and give up way too easy.You can’t put your ego and fame above the person you claim you love..

It would take someone who has a ton of confidence to deal with women always throwing themselves on their husbands OR someone who doesn’t mind if they cheat. And yes most of them do cheat.

You know, for awhile, I was never really a ScarJo fan. BUT…after re-watching a couple of Woody Allen films she was in and seeing her at some more recent events, she’s really grown on me. I like her. And she’s only 26 – that’s SO young. Sorry to hear about her marriage, but she’s got a lot of great stuff ahead of her, I’m sure.
