@Dan : B.D. Wong has kids with Richie Jackson, not Simon Halls.

I don’t see why people have to know he is gay or not, who cares if he is, if he likes his privacy then that’s his business if he doesn’t want to talk about it. And considering the hate and reputation and pressure people put on those being gay as if they are somehow different, it’s no wonder Matt doesn’t want to divulge his personal life. And you know what, I respect him for that.

Why should it matter that he’s gay, and why do people need to know so badly if he’s gay or not. I love Matt for his personality and his skills as an actor, not because he’s gay or not gay, what he does with his personal life is his business, not mine. Why can’t people just mind their own business, how would you like it if all people ever hound you for are questions about your sexuality.

If those are Matt’s kids, good for him, they are adorable!

They are not Matt’s kids, they have Simon’s faces. He obviously bought eggs and surrogate mothers for creating these kids. Poor beutiful children, I’m sure they are well taken care of, but must grow up without mother.
Even gay oriented Matt and Simon grew up with their mothers, these kids don’t have a mother.

I’ve never ever wanted to be a nanny so much in my entire life.

So cute and nice. Met him once in NYC during break of of White Collar this summer. He took the time to chat with me and my friend and said he is really flattered on the attention he is getting. You can tell he is totally gay but who cares. He is just so handsome, cute with impeccable manner and a great personality. 100% irresistable. So cute and nice (repeat this nth times to infinity from my book).

“Matt Bomer is an openly gay.”
Not true.
Matt Bomer is in the closet, he does NOT talk about his sexuality or his partner.

@Megan:

2nd Megan, Matt is very open about his sexuality to everybody in Hollywood. He’s married to an open, well known gay activist/PR.
Marrying to an open gay man makes him still in the closet? I don’t think so!

If his parenting skills are anything like his acting skills and manners, then these are the luckiest children on earth. Children don’t need a biological mother to become well adjusted, that’s a fact. Look at the general behaviour of children raised with 2 traditional parents these days – it’s sad. Case closed. A family is loving parents of any gender or orientation, not just a man, woman and child.

@Doctor Sarah:

>Look at the general behaviour of children raised with 2 traditional >parents these days – it’s sad.

Both Matt and Simon are raised with 2 traditional parents includes their biological mothers. Are they “sad” example? Your theory is basically and logically wrong. Case is so open.

“… considering the hate and reputation and pressure people put on those being gay as if they are somehow different…”

Hulloooo, they ARE somehow different if they are gay! Don’t expect the heterosexual majority to ever understand same sex attraction.

Gay, straight, it’s all the same to me what Bomer does in the bedroom. I’d rather not know, in all honesty. But the reality of being an actor in Hollywood in this era of celebrity obsession means that his sexuality will be a topic of conversation, like it or not.

Personally, I think Matt Bomer handles the issue with a lot of class. Other gay actors might want to follow his example. They know who they are.

Hottest Daddy on earth.Damn, dad’s never looked like him when I was a kid.So cool he has kids.

Percy is correct, he’s open about it and doesn’t hide and just doesn’t discuss the topic…which is *** very smart of him ***. JLO is the same..now she is even hardly ever photographed with her husband…doens’t mean she’s hiding, just private.

If interested, here’s an article on celebrity parenting thru surrogacy with quotes from Simon Halls:

@jaceyjoy: Thanks. Nice although article 3 years old almost based on date.

There is an article, “Daddy’s Little Helpers,” w/ quotes by Simon Halls on his children through surrogacy in Feb ’08 W Magazine if readers are interested.

I see the Matt troll is out in force. Too bad this person doesn’t have a life. Must be hard living with all that hate bottled up inside.

Matt, just keep on keeping on, obviously your kids are doing fine. As are you.

Who the hell cares if he’s gay or not? What goes on is someone’s bedroom is none of my business unless my lover is involved.

@Dan — Actually it was a different talent agent that was B.D. Wong’s partner — a guy named Richie Jackson. Wong and Jackon’s twins were half Asian and one died 90 mins after being born. http://www.afterelton.com/archive/elton/people/2005/11/bdwong.html

@jaceyjoy:

Very Interesting… a celebrity surrogate agency. Selfish gay couples take advantage of the technology originally made for married couples. The God punish them with Anal cancer and AIDS.

“JLO is the same..now she is even hardly ever photographed with her husband…doens’t mean she’s hiding, just private”

Are you kidding? She doesn’t hide the fact that she is married and a mom. She talks about her kids and husband all the time. Matt Bomer hides the fact that he is gay, and a parent. He NEVER takes his partner to events. J. Lo does attend events with her husband.

MemyselfI @ 12/27/2010 at 2:11 am

“Why can’t people just mind their own business, how would you like it if all people ever hound you for are questions about your sexuality.”

I don’t care if people ask if I am gay, because I don’t think sexual orientation is something to hide. When straight people are asked if they are gay, they don’t refuse to answer the question. They say “No, I’m not gay.” They don’t act like it is an offensive question, because they don’t think the public will hate them if it is known that they are straight. Matt won’t say “Yes, I am gay” because he doesn’t want the public to know he is gay. No one expects straight stars, no matter how “private” they are, to pretend that their spouses and children don’t exist and yet Matt is praised for hiding something no straight person would hide. Weird!

@MemyselfI: A straight star won’t lose a role if they admit their orientation.A gay male actor who has dreams of lead roles or action roles will.Those are the sad but true rules of da biz.

“A straight star won’t lose a role if they admit their orientation.A gay male actor who has dreams of lead roles or action roles will.Those are the sad but true rules of da biz.”

I agree with this. I’m just saying that it isn’t right to claim he is just “being private.” He isn’t just private, he is evasive in a way that straight stars are not.

He was going to be cast as Superman in Brett Ratner’s version of Superman. Once it got canceled and Bryan Singer dit it, Matt did try out but he went with Brandon Routh instead.
