David Beckham gets the support of his wonderful wife Victoria Beckham and their sons — Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 4 — at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards at the LG Arena on Sunday (December 19) in Birmingham, England.
Becks picked up of the Lifetime Achievement Award and finished off his acceptance speech by dedicating his honor to the British troops. “I dedicate my award to the men and the women who are serving our country in Afghanistan,” he said. “Be safe and have a great Christmas!”
“Words can’t express how proud I am of David,” Victoria tweeted. “A truly wonderful and very emotional evening.I ‘m so proud of my little men too!!! Thank you all so much for your kind words to David! The reception tonight was breath taking and I am so, so proud of him!! X vb x.”
FYI: Victoria paired her Alexander McQueen coat with Brian Atwood “Dante” pumps.

Can she smile or will her face break
When Beckham speaks his voice sounds like that of a prepubescent Boy. Must be all the steroids he has ingested during his career.
Even at a CELEBRATION she still cant smile; like come on – i dont even see one picture of her smiling.

I read an interview once where Victoria Beckham said that she doesn’t like to smile for photos very often because she’s embarrassed by the way her teeth look, dunno if that’s true, but it might explain why looks serious most of the time.

congrats to david..just saw the video..it was a very emotional time for them.. David was teary eyed and Victoria was crying..i never thought i would see Victoria cry and you can see in the video she was trying not to cry..

@Anita: she has weird teeth and not a very beautiful smile, maybe she is self conscious and that’s why she is never smiling.
sorry, what exactly did he accomplish this year? was it sitting out for 6 mths with an injury? or not playing in the world cup or barely for galaxy? or failing to land england any major international events?
