Galliano has lost his mind… unfortunately

I like the song..the rest not so much. Why do they have her pretend she is spraying the perfume when the cap is on?

Regardless of whether you like Momsen or not, this has to be one of the worst edited commercials I’ve ever seen. Very choppy, no flow, editing errors and more. Very distracting to watch and it takes away from the selling of the perfume. Appears to be selling Momsen and her penchant for undress. Not the perfume. As a former copywriter, I cannot for one moment imagine anyone seeing this and being compelled to run out and buy the perfume.

TO IDIOT NO TALENT MOMSEN PLEASE GO BACK TO SCHOOL.YOU EMBARRASS YOUR COUNTRY. SCOTLAND IS NOT ENGLAND

@dani:

Have at it:

I’m sure you’re prettier, sexier, your voice is sweeter and you have an artist’s chops to brave the firestorm of criticism for pioneering, flaunting convention and being authentic, genuine and true to yourself.

She’s SEVENTEEN and she’s dressed like a burlesque stripper that’s what’s wrong with this commercial. Plus yes, it’s edited badly too.:/

One word for this BORING!

What about the editing? There are no jump cuts. The cuts may fall outside the beat, so? . The shots are all tasteful. The credits work brilliantly. She’s not shorted on lighting. The camera is hand held and perhaps that may jar some with a sense of avant-garde. The music is divine.

The main thing is that it tells a story. It does that exceedingly well.

Although I like the song, I just dont get the ad at all. It didnt seem to flow naturally, and taylor didnt look to comfortable either – to me it looked like she was trying to have that laid back rock n roll vibe but it just seemed a bit stiff and contrived.
I have to congratulate Taylor on getting such a big endorsement; even though I think shes a brat and tries too hard to be edgy lol.

JOHN DO NOT ENCOURAGE HER! BAD JOHN! NO!

It’s like music video, not commercial. Not very much Galliano style……..

This reminds me of the video for Shakespeare’s Sister Stay

Dude why are u always so late on posting stuff? This video has been out since forever, aswell as other news u post here.

Ugh, I cant stand her, the video is boring as she is annoying. Its so unfair that she was blessed with that voice. She really does have a beautiful singing voice as much as I hate to say it.

See I like taylor momsen like this… yes she’s still wearing a ton of makeup but it’s in moderation she doesn’t look that much like a raccoon anymore..
I hope she keeps /this/ look

@Ricardo Delfino: dude spam somewhere else, we’re trying to read the news – unannoyably.

Uh, you all have to be joking. That video was exceptionally well made. Ellen von Unwerth has shot for the best of the best, for magazine covers, editorials, music videos, commercials. Do you actually think they would release a video that they chose to edit badly? It’s called style and culture, and the only people who go Galliano have it. And not to offend anybody, but if you didn’t like this video, then something tells me that you weren’t their target audience to begin with. The girl, she’s nuts, her makeup isn’t great, but she is talented, so good for her. But really? Criticize the editors and director? Sorry it isn’t an Old Navy or Gap ad! Sometimes things have more than one layer. And if you disagree, I’m sure Ellen won’t mind, she can go wipe her tears with the prints of her Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera prints that were published worldwide, and the former also used in a charity campaign. Taste. It’s lacking.

i liked the video and the song. her voice is really nice
who cares if she dresses like a stripper, shes on gossip girl
