OlderAndrew Garfield: Spider-Man Update!
Andrew Garfield recently opened up to UK’s The Guardian about Marc Webb‘s upcoming Spider-Man.
“We started shooting two weeks ago and then we have Christmas off,” the 27-year-old British actor shared. “Then we’re back into it for, gosh, a fair bit of time… I’m going to have to hibernate into this character for at least four or five months… I feel like a kid in my pajamas. I can only say how it feels and it feels pretty special. It feels like a dream realized and a fantasy realized. Again, I don’t take it lightly and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to wear spandex for the next couple of months.”
As for his how his physique is going to be in the flick, Andrew said, “I think Spider-Man needs strength, but Peter Parker is still a teenager, you know? That’s a very tender balance to figure out. It’s very specific what we’re trying to achieve in terms of body type and the feeling of that. Rest assured, there’s a lot of people helping me with that because I have no discipline in that respect. My father’s a swimming coach and I kind of rebelled against that very early on. Any kind of exercise routine has to be cracked with a pretty firm whip.”

I have never care that much about Spiderman but with him on it I’m gonna be camping for the premiere.
I’m SUPER excited! i’ve read a lot about this film and, apparentely, THEY’RE DOING IT RIGHT! I love Andrew, he’s new to me but I think he’s a really good actor and, gosh, Emma Stone <3
He is too cute. I have to say I’m even a little obsessed with him. Not crazy tweens going gaga for R-Pattz obsessed, but close enough.
FYI Emma is a natural blonde, she did not dye her hair. When she was on Leno, they played a vid when she was little opening x-mas presents and she was blonde.

I think this might the Spiderman film that I will actually take the time to watch.
Andrew did an awesome job in The Social Network & on some BBC programs we’ve seen- he’ll be AWESOME in Spiderman, too!
Why the hell are the messages of encouragement for Andrew getting a thumbs down, to hell with that. Andrew is awesome and I loved him in the Social Network and hope he wins an Oscar like he deserves. Also, I have every bit of faith that he is going to do an amazing job as Spiderman and screw the haters.
