Lydia Hearst to Play Lindsay Lohan in 'Pocketbooks'?

Lydia Hearst is in talks to star in the upcoming comedy Dogs in Pocketbooks in the lead role based on Lindsay Lohan.

The 26-year-old model and heiress “will play a bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents, predatory paparazzi, off-the-wall stalkers and crazed media — a role obviously based on Lindsay Lohan,” screenwriter Charles Casillo told the New York Post.

But the film, he adds, “is in no way mean-spirited towards” the actress, 24, who’s currently in rehab.

“It’s more of a satire about the crazy people around her and the situations they generate. It satirizes the obsession with modern celebrity,” Charles explained.

Lindsay‘s family, however, is considering taking legal action since the film is “using her likeness without her being compensated,” TMZ reports.

Lydia shot down rumors that she has already signed onto the role saying “I am not officially signed onto any other projects.”

WHAT DO YOU THINK of Lydia Hearst’s new role based on Lindsay Lohan’s life?

I’m pretty sure the Lohans would sue God if they thought the outcome could subsidize their lifestyle.

They’re probably considering legal action against me right now, since I’m writing about them without their being compensated.

Why Hate ? @ 12/28/2010 at 10:03 am

Why Make A Film About Her When She Is Trying To Get On With Her Life ? Seriously ?!
I Dont Care If To Warn Or Show The Pressure On Stars – There Is No Need To Show Her Life ; It’s Already Hectic And Crazy As It Is !! :@

Her parents need to step back a bit, they are too sue happy.

I have Lindsay’s cell phone number:

Hm, should be interesting to see.

The Lohans are ridiculously sue happy, however I agree this film shouldn’t be made – but for different reasons. This film will only fuel the delusions of Lindsay and her white trash family that they are influential, important, and above the law. If people ignored them or at least stopped enabling them they would go away and perhaps it would be easier for Lindsay to overcome her troubles.

Talk about stupid ideas.

who cares? L.L is not worth talking about she is getting dry. Does anybody care?? she has no career.

She kinda looks like Jodie Foster.

Hope this movie portrays her parents and close friends as crazy as they are…Lilo’s biggest life problems are her parents. Mom sucks the life out of her Lilo, she attaches her self to anything that she can cash in on.

So, this means her and Lindsay will be BFFs now… right?

they are already going about this the wrong way. if they hire some unknown that looks exactly like lindsay, thats why people think its about her. so when her family sues, its actually a bit justified. they might not have a right to win anything, but they do have the right to sue. i dunno it just seems craptastic.
