Two extremely STRONG performances by this lovely gal in Doubt and now The Fighter, give her an Oscar!
Hollywood needs to replace D-grade so-called ”celebrities” (yes, I am looking at you, Kardashian Krap Kin) with people like Amy Adams

I’ve steadily lost over 100 pounds. My life has changed dramatically because of “Hypersonic Weight Loss” and I have never felt so good.

Hopefully Christian will get an oscar nomination for this role,and who knows maybe he’ll receive it too!He deserves it 100% because he is such a talented actor.I’ve seen the trailer of this movie and all performances were amazing,Amy Adams and Mark Walberg were also great!

@Irena: Replace Kim Kardashian with Amy Adams? But Kim and Amy are not even in the same social circle, line of work… Kim isn’t taking away Amy’s opportunities.

Oscar noms don’t mean sh**. We all know hes a fantastic actor. Amy on the other hand was bad in the fighter. Just a bad match.

Christian Bale is an amazing actor, I hope he gets an Oscar nomination for this movie. I can’t wait for him to suit up in the bat suit again though. I wonder who will be his ladylove in Batman 3 now that Natalie Portman is no longer in the running. Great performances all around for The Fighter though, especially Bale and Wahlberg.

I just love, love, love, LOVE Christian Bale :)) Such a raw talent, intelligence, wit, and prettiness. And yes, give him the Oscar already! It`s way overdue.

I understand that Bale probably dresses like that all the time because he stays in character and wants to show his support to Dickie Eklund but I wonder how he’s gonna look like at the Golden Globes and Oscars.

@LeeG:

with people like Amy Adams

I meant to say that we need to see more of people like Amy Adams rather than Kim Kardashian

@Josephine: He’s not in character this is how the man dresses. He doesn’t wear designer clothes he wears the same brands that you and i do which I think is great.

So happy for his nominations and even though i enjoy his hair long I really hope he cuts it before next weeks award shows. Its getting a little crazy and i don’t think it will look good once he puts on a suit/tux. But we’ll see. Can’t wait

Christian Bale is awesome, and I agree that he deserves an Oscar. I doubt that he cares that much, though. His interviews don’t suggest that he does. I heard some big names turned down his role (definitely Brad Pitt, but I can’t remember the others). So glad he jumped at the chance. He seems to have a great knack for choosing his roles wisely. Can’t wait to see him again as the Bat, even if it is his commercial sell-out. Thanks for doing one for the masses!

@Lucy: His role as Batman was a commercial sell-out? Are you kidding me? It’s a Christopher Nolan film, retold with the same depth and gravity that the comics convey. Geez, just because a movie is part of a DC or Marvel franchise doesn’t mean it’s commercial b.s..

Awwww come on!!!! @ 01/10/2011 at 5:35 pm

Christian is long overdue to recieving praise from his peers..I think this year will be his year!!!
