Gwen Stefani is the new face of L’Oreal Paris!
The 41-year-old rocker joins Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce in representing the cosmetics and beauty brand.
“I can’t believe I get to be one of the L’Oréal Paris girls,” Gwen said (via People). “I love playing dress up, on stage or shooting videos, it’s always been one of my favorite parts of being in a band.”
“To get to work with such a modern, talented group of people is really exciting. I’m a lucky, lucky girl,” Gwen added.
Gwen‘s first campaign will be representing Infallible Le Rouge lip color – and her first commercial will air during the Golden Globes on Sunday (January 16)!

Gwen Stefani?? Blah, she is so yesterday and she hasn’t updated her own look in over a decade. I guess L’Oreal Paris are going to promote how to put on one’s makeup with a spachula like Gwen does then and how to constantly wear only ONE f-ing lipstick shade in fugly red.

Bad choice for L’Oreal when she cakes on the makeup. She’s looked the exact same for over a decade and even though she thinks she is edgy with her weirdo clothes (which often look ridiculous, MC Hammer pants?) her face is clown like with her awful lipstick she insists on wearing and not somebody I would ever think of getting makeup tips from or buying makeup from.

Better use models for advertising campaigns. They are more credible than the famous actresses and singers.

Agree poor choice due to her same decade old style and the boatload of makeup she wears. But I guess they got Beyonce and Gwen at bargain basement prices as they are both passé and getting on in Hollywood years and both have careers that are fading. L`Oréal probably spent all their moola on Beyonce who is gorgeous and a good choice.

Yeah, Beyonce is a natural looking beauty – looks good with or without make up.
For L’Oréal it’s not just a question of beauty here, they are not looking for the unattainable perfect model that no-one knows, for some campains they pick someone pretty who is recognisable in many countries, who has a positive image, who is not likely to “lose it” overnight, who is likeable by women of many different cultures, age groups, social categories, etc.
Just how many faces does L’Oreal Paris need? They are announcing new ones every few weeks.
Supporting a brand that tastes on animals? Bad choise , but you neen the money I guess?
