Marisa Miller Covers 'Shape' Magazine February 2011

Marisa Miller shows off her body in a lacy pink dress on the upcoming February cover of Shape magazine.

The 32-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model takes the cover for the 8th time in this issue hitting stands next Monday.

Here’s what Marisa had to share in the upcoming issue.

On cooking: “I’m addicted to the Food Network,” Marisa shares. “If I’m going to have something rich and yummy, I’m not reaching for prepackaged brownies. I’m going to make a pie from scratch.”

On staying in shape: “Muscle starts to disappear as you age, I’ve discovered. I love my butt and want to make sure it stays where it is.”

On riding a motorcycle: “My dad taught me how to ride. Being outside in nature is so freeing for me. And whenever I really focus on something—whether it’s surfing, biking, or cooking—that’s how I de-stress. But I also love the challenge. Riding my motorcycle builds my self-esteem and confidence.”

“Muscle starts to disappear as you age”

Maybe it’s just me, but it always seems like older women in good shape are much more muscular than younger women in good shape.

I’m talking about women like Demi Moore, Lisa Rinna, Kelly Bensimon, and Madonna. Do they want to have that muscle definition or is it just the result of the natural aging process and thinner skin?

I still cannot believe Marisa is 32 years old. Don’t get me wrong, she is beautiful. But she could easily pass for a 40 year old woman, especially in photos that haven’t been retouched.

@vanessa: Actually, we all are.

Shape, I read your magazines for a reason. I like to see the real women that are working hard at getting their body in the right shape as possible. I like to see the women working out and showing that they care. I really don’t see that in Marisa Miller. She looks like a women that don’t work out. She looks like she has been skinny all her life. I don’t see any muscle tone on her just skin and bones. I think that she is on the cover for her looks and not the real reason for shape magazine!!!. If this continues I will not be purchasing anymore shape magazines. We want to see the real women that truely care. I am just keeping it real. Think about what the people want and not your pockets.
