Kristen Stewart Covers 'Vogue' February 2011

Kristen Stewart graces the cover of Vogue magazine’s February 2011 issue, on newsstands Tuesday (January 25)!

The 20-year-old Twilight actress shared that she’s begun to feel the pressure of playing Bella Swan! “It’s starting to enter my head a lot more than it used to because it’s at the end and it’s come such a long way. I just want the fans of the book to be happy,” Kristen laughed. “I don’t necessarily care about anyone else.”

Kristen also dished on losing her anonymity: “There’s no way to eloquently put this. I just can’t go to the mall. It bothers me that I can’t be outside very often. And also to not ever be just ‘some girl’ again. Just being some chick at some place, that’s gone.”

glad shes back to blonde.. gorgeous cover

another magazine, another whinny interview! What I don’t get is why Vogue photoshopped the h3ll out of her?! In some pics she looks….unreal! Plus, couldn’t she close her mouth in ONE picture at least???

  • Candy

She actually looks quite amazing. I like the lighter hair on her and that her mullet’s growing out. If only she could learn to speak properly in public…. sigh.

  • laverdadduele

Self-absorbed b*tch, always complaining about fame. Boo hoo, if you don’t like it, what there f*ck are you doing in the entertainment business? Just disappear, no one is going to miss you.

  • dejan

She should come to Serbia, nobody gives a shit who she is here!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amalie

    she is stunning.

  • mickey

I hate when celebs complain about not being able to maintain their anonymity. If you wanted to be anonymous, she should have gotten a regular job and done community theatre in her spare time. Frankly, I wish she had stayed in school and become an accountant or something because she can’t act.

  • kiki

Why and how did she get on Vogue? She really needs to get another expression. That one is not flattering. Talk about Zoolander. As for the whining, no sympathy. There is a fine line between honest and rude/ungrateful. She crossed it. Most of the world would kill to be in her position. Funny, thing, I’m not even a hater. I wanted to love her, She has ruined that opportunity and ruined Bella for me. Just not a quality individual. Sad.

  • poppy

The makeup artist hated her. Her eyebrows are smeared and she looks awful.

  • lerner

I wouldn’t recognize her. Not everyone is into Twilight my dear. She is too cocky. I watched it cause the kids but this girl is so full of herself. It is NEVER a good thing. Now Oprah is someone who is seriously famous. I can’t imagine her being stupid enough to say things like this. Her parents should have taught her to be more humble.

First of all, Vogue should be grateful that Kristen said yes to posing on the cover of their magazine. Truthfully, it is Vogue that needs Kristen more than Kristen needs Vogue. Her presence will sell more magazines for Vogue just by the sheer Twilight fan base. Kristen is hot right now, she’ll sell all by herself. It’s just that posing in fashion magazines won’t do anything for her acting career and might even hinder it by taking credibility away from her acting and instead focusing on the glamorous side of fame. Her image is hard work and rough indie, Oscar baiting roles. A glamorazon is the complete opposite and might loose her those roles. She might be subjugated to playing the girlfriend or damsel in distress if she cultivate that image, since there is so few substantial roles for female actress but lots of girlfriend and supporting roles of that like.

  • Grmp

I don’t think most of the world would kill to be in her position. Lot’s of people don’t like to be the center of attention, you know. They may like the money and the opportunity to travel and attend glamorous events, but not the tabloid articles, the interviews, the tv appearances, having your pictures taken before going into the building and having your picture dissected the next day and splashed all over the newspapers, being stalked by fans and admirers, having friends and loved ones get stalked and paid off to gossip about you, having your high school photos leaked to the tabloids, your past leaked to them, paparazzi camping out at popular locations and your home trying to capture a bad picture of you so that the newspapers and write mean things about you. etc. etc.

  • Maddie

Stunning girl… too bad Vogue is retarded and used so much photo shop. I saw the video and outtakes. No need for photo shop at all. Her skin is flawless. Ugh.

  • Anonymous

I love her dark brows against her blonde hair.
    makes her look more striking

  • Dee

lol Just like in all of her movies she has the same stoic look on her face. No emotion whatsoever. She should go learn some modeling tips from Tyra Banks she doesn’t HAVE to smile just a little grin or something not looking like she’s constipated in all her shots

  • Sin

Kristen’s not a model. She is an actress who just happens to be featured on the cover of fashion magazines. It was the editor who decided that she deserves a cover and deserves being featured on Vogue. What they do with her is up to them. The photographer directs the shoot and the models, the stylist styles her, the model just has to be present and do what is directed of her/him. If they decided that her pictures are good enough and she deserves to be on the cover, then it was the editor’s decision. Kristen must be quite a model to get the cover. What Anna says is in and acceptable, must be true. Apparently her posing is in as dictated by the highest fashion magazine.

Cry me a river Kristen. You shouldn’t have done Twilight then. Don’t tell me that she did Twilight because she thought it would have been a small independent movie and she could still stay being a small actress in smaller movies. Kristen’s agent: “I have this great script for you Kristen, it’s going to be a huge success. Huge Kristen, this will make you a known name, you will be able to pick and choose your rolls now, your pay will go up, you’ll make millions and have your face plastered everywhere, this is what we’ve been waiting for.” Kristen: “Ummmmm, I don’t really think I want that, no thank you.” HA, yeah right!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HOT

    Kristen looks amazing.

  • Kate

@biscuitb1980: that was actually the case alright. There are no known names nor were there a nation wide search for the actors. Not like the girl with the dragon tattoo auditions, not with the harry potter auditions, not with the great gatsby auditions. Everything was all under the radar until Twilight came out and made bank at the box office. Why would summit, a small independent studio get the rights to Twilight if it wasn’t going to make a small independent film? Bigger studios would have bid for the project and easily gotten it. Twilight was passed around but every studio passed on it. They wanted to make a weird romantic comedy out of twilight by stephenie myers put her foot down on it. Twilight was a small indie pretending to be a studio blockbuster and it still is. Small budget movie targeting the fan base, not the general public (where all the hate came from). They wanted to make Bella an outgoing girl who is the star of her high school short track team. That would please the mass audience and there would be no whining of a weak girl falling for a stalker boyfriend. But it would have butchered the book which millions of fans enjoyed.

    >Twilight was a small indie pretending to be a studio blockbuster and it still is. Small budget movie targeting the fan base<

Wrong. It costed 40 million to make. That’s not a small budget movie and indie movies have a production budget of under 20 million.

  • Kathy

    @hanni: AMEN!

Wasn’t there a rumor that Taylor Swift was supposed to be on the February cover? Instead we get THIS bitch. She makes herself sound ungrateful, stupid, and too easygoing. “I can’t be anonymous anymore”? Yeah, boo-hoo, Kristen. You chose this career, and you chose to act in a chick flick saga. Don’t try to blame the media and the paparazzi for not giving you as much privacy as a regular person. “I don’t necessarily care about anyone else?” Way to be respectful. And at least try to smile. It’s Vogue, for goodness sake.
