Chris Pine: Convertible Cruise for 'Welcome to People'

Chris Pine walks to the set of his latest movie, Welcome to People, on Thursday (January 20) in downtown Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old actor drove around in a red convertible for a few scenes on his first day on the job!

In between takes, Chris was all smiles and chatted with crew members.

Chris was spotted arriving on set and going to his trailer earlier in the day.

JJ if these pictures are from today (January 20) … is the second day of CP on the set! …

He seems in good spirits with the crew … for me, CP does not need to be smiling all the time … because I respect his moments of introspection…. hmmmm … ok bad-tempered at times …. only with papz … LOL … it’s so gorgeous anyway!

But when CP is smiling … WOW … I LOVE!

Chris has been in some great movies and I suspect this movie will be good as well.

It is nice to see him smiling and the weather looks brighter and sunnier too. That always helps one’s mood. No, he does not have to be smiling all the time. In fact, if he does it too much, no doubt someone will call it “cheesy”, “fake” or something (I’m not sure how much is too much). Personally, I like a bit of “cheesy”. Having a little cheese in a diet is very good, very healthy for a person.

I am just happy that Chris looks happy and appears to be having fun as well. It’s been a while since we have been treated to pictures of him smiling, when it does not appear to be part of a filming sequence as it was on This Means War.

Best wishes to all the cast and crew of Welcome to People.

Is that red convertible Chris Pine’s car or is it the car to be used in the movie, as in it belongs to the studio or is on hire or something? Just wondering.

Welcome to People” was included in “2010 Black List: Most Liked Scripts In Hollywood” … then it’s a good script by one who understands … so has everything to be a good movie … I do not understand why anyone is questioning this before seeing the finished film! … maybe someone uninformed?

I hope that red convertible is not a Corvette, because you know what happens when you allow a Kirk to behind the wheel of a (60s/70s) Corvette. I hope there is no big ravine or similar nearby…;)

Besides hard work, Chris Pine should be having fun, too!

In “This Means War” he was driving an Audi 8, I think, in “Welcome to People” this red convertible!

I really want to watch these movies, I can not wait to see Chris out promoting them and telling how he was filming these scenes!

CP publicist: pls release more about CP just having fun like he (used to) play basketball or stuff. He is so cute. Nobody looks head to toe brown(ish).
