I like most of Natalie’s movies (strange, seeing as I find her rather pretentious) but I was totally put off by this one because of Ashton. I like him but I can’t bare to watch him. He’s annoying and I can’t take his movies seriously, even when it’s comedy.

  • lexy hates bilson

    Go Natalie and Ashton!!! #1!!

  • BEAN

@BEAN: And I know comedy is not meant to be taken seriously but Im sure you can all gather what I mean by that lol.

Romantic comedies are a big money grabber, both for the actors and at the box office.

  • Amy

What is worth noting about this film is that R Rated RomComs are on the decline and the studio predicted a flop. In fact, they didn’t send out a lot of the pre release press that they might for a movie they expect to make a big hit. This movie is doing surprisingly well, which is great for Natalie because she’s producer and star.

    Where *~*+*~*??????????

  • http://J.net Kaz simply Amaazzing !!!!!!!!

    Because he looks gorgoues cute

  • anon

    @Kate:

Actually romantic comedies have taken a bad rap lately and the only redeeming feature for making them is that they are relatively cheaper to make than other types so they don’t have to make a ton of money to be successful which makes this one doubly more successful. As for Ashton; not a fan, but every dog should have his day especially when considering his abysmal track record. But I shudder to think what the near future holds now that he is in part a main factor for this ‘hit’.

  • http://Ta Sligo ^_^ cute

    How’s cute?

  • Lilakoi Moon

So that means that friends with benefits relationships are going to be a trend now?

  • ellie’

I went to see The King’s Speech. Hope Colin wins for best actor.

  • Maria

i’m glad it’s #1 at the box office. i want to see it! it looks hilarious from the trailer.

  • JDC

I’ll definitely watch this movie… Congrats Natalie

  • Melissa

@ 21, I believe the premise of the movie is that being “friends with benefits” never works out, even when you go into it believing it can and you will not become emotionally involved, but of course you always do.

  • asstonkutch

Whatever. It made money coz of Natalie’s recent publicity.
Ashton K reminds me so much of Jennifer Anniston. He’s so one dimensional like her. He has not grown up since his TV series which I cannot remember the title anymore except that I remember the character played by Wilmer (the alleged devirginizer of pre-Miley Disney stars).
When Hollywood starts making 3D movies, I know Ashton and Jennifer A. are among the first ones to run out of roles because they are one dimensional. When you use your 3D glasses they will come out flat like cardboards.

  • J

This was great love comedy movie. They took a different approach this time around with these movies, and it work. I wish Natalie would of shown more skin though, but that’s a personal request. :D

  • Joan

I dont care about her personal life. Who was/is a saint in hollywood? Megastars or legends like Marilyn, Marlon Brando or celebrities like Kim Kardashian or Paris hilton?? Shes a good actress, she was amazing in Black Swan. And i have a great respect 4 her. she cares about doing well her job, which is acting.

  • Halli

    Ugghhh.
