Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka Take The Twins for a Spin

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka cover up their twins, Harper and Gideon, as they go out for a walk on Sunday (January 30) near their place in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old actor and his longtime love were joined by a few friends and their pups!

NPH recently shared that his life has changed since becoming a father, tweeting a photo of a mini-fridge with several bottles of milk when it was meant to hold Red Bull! “This pic kind of sums up my life right now,” he shared.

umm, that looks dangerous! can those poor babies breathe?! i get hiding them from the paps, but for goodness sake!

    miss p Says:

sorry im no hater…but this looks sick. first its sooo unfair on babies what if they wanted mummy? second….they are not letting them beath lol it looks that way.

im no gay hater but if u choose to be gay then dont make punish others.

its like if i dont have a husband or bf im not gona have kids!!! its not fair on child…

    Chelsea Says:

I hope the baby has enough air in NPH’s sweater.

    DMW Says:

Wow Miss P you’re really ignorant. People bring children to this world in all kinds of condition. The only thing children need is love and they obviously love their twins. You’re obviously a homophobic who’s upset cause your life sucks and no one actually cares .

    Riley Says:

You don’t need 2 different sex parents for a kid to be okay. there are many different kinds of families as long as there is love that is all that matters. With that being said… those babies are suffocating.

    lexy hates bilson Says:

I love NPH but what he’s doing is very dangerous. There have been cases of babies suffocating being held like that. If he doesn’t want the boys photographed he needs a stroller that faces him or hold them over his shoulder with a light blanket covering the kid.

    Rao Says:

Are you guys serious? they are probably just protecting the babies from the wind/cold.

    Ali Says:

They are ******** IDIOTS!! Who cares if they are photographed. Sorry but that’s part of being a celebrity—really not the worst thing in the world. It’s really not.
This is absurd. Would he rather have his babies dead than have someone take a picture of them?
My advice: Ignore the paps and just keep your children’s physical well being your main priority.
    Idiots.

    Marlin Says:

As a nanny, let me assure you that it is perfectly safe to carry your children like that. And I’m sure Neil only zipped his sweater up for the few SECONDS the passed the paps. NOTHING wrong with that.

    From Paris with Love Says:

What’s the point of going out with the kids then?! I’ve NEVER seen someone zip their jacket all the way up over a baby like that :O that’s juste insane and ridiculous.

  12. 12
    S Says:

ummm… is that safe to have the kids confined with little air breathe? I understand they don’t want the kids pics taken, but would you sacrifice their safety for THAT. Come on….

    heather Says:

Not everyone has two parent of the opposite sex.
I grew up in a single family home.
My father died when I was young.
So I only had one parent growing up and aunties. With no father. Life is not all the way you see it.
Kids grow up in divorce families, blended families. What about orphan kids ?
    So much ignorance.

    JluvsA Says:

Yeah the pics are kinda scaring me too. Poor babies. Both seem too covered up. Could anyone breathe that covered up? Dear lord Patrick & David! Please don’t do that again. I’m sure they’re fine but this really isn’t a sight to see. Icky. : (

If you all know so much better and can judge the situation from pictures being taken in a few seeeeconds, why not go to NPH’s Twitter account and let him know what he might have done wrong? You know, as friendly advice to a new parent, instead of branding them on blogs as bad parents without any further information?

    Notobemean Says:

@miss p: Wow at little small minded of you and sorry you’re homophobia is showing. How do you know the babies don’t have a female mommy figure and how is that any different than single woman raising children without a daddy figure in their lives??? Should we round up all the children living in single parent homes, and have them become wards of the state, because they’re being raise by only one parent and that’s going to have a detrimental effect on them, according to you? You should talk to a few child Psychiatrist, about this issue, I think you’ll find that your opinion is very wrong. You need to get over the sexuality aspect, and hope they are what they present themselves to be, a happy loving stable family, which is what I think pretty much every child would like to have.

    Notobemean Says:

@Star: Um you know, you can breath threw cloth right? I mean it’s not like he got his sweater tightly wrapped around the kids head with no air way. Seriously, how is this any different than wrapping the kids up in a blanked that covers their face, they’re not going to die. Also, it’s fairly common in my area, to cover your babies faces with at least a blanket since excessive wind can cause colic in babies.

    jaye Says:

Who are these two getting parenting advice from. They’d better let those kids BREATHE. You don’t have to be judging anyone to see the babies are totally covered up. Who the h*ell carries a baby completely zipped up in your jacket? His head isn’t even out for Pete’s sake. Their friends have no more sense than they do. Agrees with Lexy.

    mimiloo Says:

I am too lazy to count the negative comments, but it’s easy to see that none of you have children on your own/have never used a wrapping cloth or had to cover up your kids to protect them from wind and rain.

    Anon Says:

@Nottobemean: CLOTH OR NOT, THEY’RE BABIES, YOU IDIOT! WHY RISK IT?!

  22. 22
    missy Says:

guess ***** boys never heard of a blanket! Creepy now dangerous! They probably don’t even have the babies with them, they’re just getting they’re picture taken “being parents”

  23. 23
    Internet Moms Says:

You people sound so young and foolish. The babies are fine. I still sleep with a blanket over my head all night to block out the light. Yep. It covers my whole head. I went on to get two (and counting) university degrees – no damage done. The babies are not being smothered. Relax, folks.

  24. 24
    Jason Says:

Since NPH is carrying an umbrella, it’s possible that it was an on/off drizzly day and they’re covering the kids so they don’t get wet. It might have also been a little cool and breezy. Of course, looking at it that way and considering such less sensationalistic possibilities may not be as fun for those drones who enjoy the sport of jumping to conclusions.

  25. 25
    Leo Says:

Congrats to Neil and David. I am so happy for them. They are a REAL family-they love each other, they love their kids. That’s what a family is all about….here’s to the fun-filled years that lie ahead. Enjoy!!!
