Tom Hardy: Batman Flies Into LAX

Tom Hardy arrives at LAX wearing a Junk Food Batman t-shirt on Monday (January 31) in Los Angeles.

Earlier this month, director Christopher Nolan announced that the 33-year-old British actor will be playing the villain Bane in The Dark Knight Rises.

Tom will star opposite Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway, who’s set to take on the role of Selina Kyle a.k.a. Catwoman!

Tom will play an escaped prisoner “who became abnormally strong after being pumped full of drugs.”

Now they just need to include Rupert Thorne, Black Mask, Dr. Hugo Strange and Deadshot and this movie will have all the major villains it needs. Christopher Nolan is the undisputed best and greatest director in the world. The Dark Knight Rises will be the biggest movie of 2012. Watch out Avatar!

@JustJared…your description of Bane is an oversimplification.

Bane is the greatest villain in the Batman universe. He is the greatest Mastermind. Batman actually accepts him as the most intelligent villain. He outwits Batman and ends up breaking his back in half.
