OlderAdam Lambert: I Don't Watch the 'American Idol' Auditions
Adam Lambert chats with Ellen DeGeneres while making an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs on Thursday (February 10).
The 29-year-old singer told Ellen that he has not started watching the new season of American Idol.
“I usually tune in when they get to Top 12,” Adam said. “I heard that it’s good. I’m going to miss you. I don’t know how I feel about that.”
Adam added that he thinks Jennifer Lopez is a good addition to the show. “She’s been working in this industry forever. She really knows, I think,” he said.

the media prefers 2 showcase what they want..they ignore what they want and latch on what gets clicks
i wish they covered more his normal low profile deeds ,,ie charity, and his singing, u have 2 dig 4 that stuff

@Jermaine: It’s mainly about radio plays altho music channels play a huge part. Some stations still have internal issues about playing artists like Adam and the Scissor Sisters, mainly American ones :3
JHO doesn’t know anything. She’s an untalented mess. The only thing she knows how to do is pick the right man to service so she can get a record contract, movie deal, whatever.

Don’t like him, that’s your prerogative, but to suggest he isn’t talented is totally ignorant. Boy can sing his face off.
Oh, and @Lora? You want to know who Adam is? He’s the subject of the article you deliberately clicked on, read, and bothered to respond to. He is also, undoubtedly, the person overshadowing your own personal favorite Idol.
Despite his name coming up every so often over here in the UK, for the most part on daytime and late night shows, the last time his music was played on the radio or on the television was when he was doing promotion here.
Most people know who he is (hell, our national treasure Steven Fry is fond of him) and I often see him in magazines and newspapers but he is not a household name yet. I’d like to think our country is a lot more accepting……we do play SS and similar artists on the radio very regularly, however, I think it has more to do with not knowing enough about him. I also think his label spend too much time on their more disposable artists ie. Ke$ha. P!nk whose music I and many others can not stand these days gets more than enough radio play. I can’t my my head around it all to be honest.
Steven Tyler is the only flawless judge on Idol. I never knew he was so charming and funny.
PS. Adam needs to run far far away from RCA.

The rumor he was dismissing was Perez’s scummy team claiming he was dating his dancer Taylor, which btw I read as I haven’t been on his rank site in years. Thank you for not making up BS like some do, Jared. It makes me want to continue coming to your site.
I find everything about him fascinating and yet he seems so normal.
