Check out the premiere of Rihanna‘s commercial for her first fragrance, Reb’l Fleur.
When perfume designers first met with the 22-year-old pop star, “she would come into the meeting with a very unique smell, and people would say, ‘What are you wearing?’ and she would rattle off five fragrances that she had mixed and layered,” Frederick E. Purches, the founder of Parlux Fragrances, told the New York Times.

hmmm, it was almost perfect, but a little 2 forced. the skit or the concept i mean should have stayed in one color palette ….visually she looked very beautiful tho, kudos!

That commercial was visually stunning and a little shocking with the two sets of hands over her eyes- that implies a lot! It would be better if they said the name of the perfume at the end!

I love the way it looks like she’s in a blooming flower! It’s the best part of the entire commercial!
So they based it on 5 perfumes already on the market. Well, she copied MIA’s Boyz video and for the S&M video Dave LaChapelle’s photos. Not a surprise she’s borrowing from something else again and calling it her’s. The feathers were the only nice part. The commercial was weird and Rihanna didn’t look good in it.
Actually, both MIA and Rihanna copied Neneh Cherry’s video Buffalo Stance. The commercial was just ok.
Rihana is best role play here so I like this..

It seems to be trying to be intentionally dramatic and fails terribly. Rihanna is not a very good actress and looks silly.
