Willow Smith: Teen Vogue March 2011

Willow Smith whips her hair and poses for some new shots in the March 2011 issue of Teen Vogue.

Here’s what the 10-year-old superstar had to share:

On Justin Bieber: “Justin’s like my big brother. I don’t have a crush on him.”

On her interest in music: “I used to go on tour with my mom and dad and see what they were doing, and I’d tell them, ‘Oh, I wanna do that, I wanna do that.’”

On her personal style: “I wear anything I feel like. If I want to put on a pair of Converse with a pencil stuck through them, I will.”

On the success of ‘Whip My Hair’: “When I first put ['Whip My Hair'] out, everyone was like, ‘Willow, Willow, I love your song!’ And I was like, ‘Really?’ Whipping your hair means not being afraid to be yourself. If people don’t like you, then bunck them, you know?”

    Chelsea Says:

“Superstar”? Um really, Jared? This kid is obnoxious. I’m sorry but no 10 year old should be making records. Go to school, kid!

NEPOTISM!! The celebrities are just like Arab dictators with unfair door opening for THEIR spawn.

    Thai Says:

Pls stop posting news about this used and abused child. Only an idiot could say she’s talented or happy or that she’s a singer…

    MangerBouger Says:

    LOL !

She talks like an adult. At her age, I was only worried about playing with my friends, going to school, being sometimes at logerheads with my parents because of my marks or my music lessons.
    Times have changed.

What a little bratty snotty kid she is now. Good job parentals–your spawn will be making you grandparents very very soon.

Teen Vogue? Are you kidding me? IT’S TEEN VOGUE! KEYWORD: TEEN! I never knew being 10 was the new teen!!

Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against Willow, but the way kids are growing up these days… I mean, weren’t you like a fetus yesterday?

    Barbara Says:

I am repulsed by this child and the parents who thought it was a good idea to usher a 10-year old into the media world to be scrutinized and dissected.

    In The Know Says:

There is serious backroom industry backlash already going on over this kid that the public does not know about, and is common knowledge in town.

JJ should be “In The Know” on that. How about posting on that topic Jared?

    rhonda Says:

might just as well get them on the ***** train early!

    No, just no Says:

So silly. This is a CHILD not a teen. She should be going to school and playing with Littlest Pet Shops with her friends after soccer practice.

    Rocky Says:

    @MangerBouger:

YOU KNOW IT! I only wanted to get my roller skates on, play jump rope with my friends and just hang out and have a good time. This little girl is in for a rude awakening, as her parents will be. She needs to be in school and learning about the ‘real’ world around her and not the ‘Hollywood’ world. Her parents should both be ashamed of themselves!!

She should be in school learning something!

    Shana Says:

Will Smith’s kids are the most exploited Children in Hollywood. I saw the family on Oprah. Will and Jada talked about the business of having their kids performing and making movies, and how they have everything so planned and well organized, and perfectly under control. Everybody knows that Hollywood kids grow up with serious mental issues. I don’t know of a single kid in Hollywood that grew up to be a normal adult. Just take a look at Britney and Lyndsey Lohan.

  24. 24
    Lillianne Says:

Yeah, there’s something off about this kid. Come back in ten years and if you’re not smoking salvia or posing nude maybe I’ll change my mind.

    anonymous Says:

I guess if her parents were doctors and she said I want to do that they would purchase her a doctor’s degree and diploma, set up her office even bribe people to be her patients. Willow seem to be as cavalier as ever about what she is doing like a if she is entitled. If you don’t have the talent to sing or act it is going to come out sooner or later i can bet you Will and Jada is saying to themselves that will never happen we are going to make our child a succes if we have to die tring , well maybe they might have to do just that.
