What a disgrace to the music industry.
Shame on you Grammy’s for a horrible show.
    A disgrace.
The people of this business have destroyed it once and for all.
    I am sick.
    Music is everything to me.

i am so tired of her trying to convince everyone that shes a singer. just because you are a famous actress doesnt mean you can automatically be good at anything you want. she is terrible and she is embarrassing herself.

Cee Lo was great. Gwyneth sounds very amateurish and has a weak voice. She just doesn’t have it.

she should have worn something more colorful for this number. Voice was decent.

TERRIBLE! GP has a mediocre voice on a good day. She is NOT a soulful singer and she has absolutely no vocal depth. There is no way she should ever be sharing the stage with someone like Cee Lo Green. It was a travesty.

No one wanted to hear Gwyneth sing in the dreadful Country Strong, why does she think anyone wants to hear her sing anywhere else?

I was channel surfing and came across the last minute of it. I didn’t know who she was because the camera wasn’t on her face at first. Wow, it was embarrassingly bad. I had heard she can sing, but her singing voice is unpleasant, and she doesn’t move well. Definitely no dancing training. She’s awkward and gawky, and that unitard was really unflattering. The thing is, she’s a GREAT actress, and really beautiful, but for some reason she looked awful, moved awful, sounded awful. Amateurish and boring. Can you say “Heidi Montag at the Miss Universe Pageant?”

Well, I guess it was obvious Gwyneth Paltrow wasn’t lip synching, because if she had been, the singing would have sounded better.

I love Gwyneth, but she disappointed. Voice wasn’t warmed up and she needs to do some strength training. I thought they were going to have to hoist her up off the piano.

She looked and sounded amazing. The BEST, most entertaining performance of the night. Haters will hate, because they have nothing better to do. I watched, re-watched and then watched it again while copying it in HD to my hard drive. SUCK on that! – hateful bloggers…

Harsh — I’m pretty sure I couldn’t even stand in those 5″ heels on top of a highly shellacked piano. I thought she was great.

    Anelis Says:

She did look too thin (but humongous heels and all-black). Otherwise, I thought it was fun. It wasn’t meant to be that serious. Note, the muppets singing back up…

  21. 46
    Anelis Says:

She did a good job. I was pleasantly surprised by her voice. Some of the haters here seem to think the performance should’ve bben more serious than the performers had in mind (Note the Muppets singing back up vocals…).

    ilia Says:

Her is the performance – LOVED IT!

    Alice Says:

I mean…she did well. The truth is, she doesn’t come off as a likeable character, but there’s no denying she held her own. That said, I just don’t think she has the star power when it comes to music that she has in film. Cee-lo and the muppets were amazing.

    thisizkim Says:

A HOT MESS! OMG I kinda feel embarrassed for her. She is so damn pitchy. I agree, the rolling around on the piano was super awkward. Just because she’s pretty and has money, does not make her a singer.

    hoitytoitytoity Says:

Fck u Gwyneth, you cause Cee Lo a grammy! Dammit, why can’t they let Cee lo sing this song without making it g rated? And plus Gywneth, WTF???
