Serene Branson 'Feeling Fine' After Post-Grammy Broadcast

KCBS anchor Serene Branson is doing fine after a bizarre on-air moment on Sunday night (February 14) after the Grammys.

A spokesman for the station released a statement today saying that Serene had been examined by paramedics after the broadcast, but that her vital signs were normal and she wasn’t hospitalized.

“As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home, and she says she is feeling fine this morning,” the spokesman added.

Rumors swirled online that Serene had suffered a stroke on-air – but glad to hear that she’s doing okay!

    aw i feel bad :(
im not a doctor but when i was a child i did have a mild case of epilepsy and sometimes when i would try and talk durng an “episode” thats what i would sound like. i wounder if she has an adult case of epilepsy. if very rare to get it as an adult though, she would of had to have it as a child and gained it back or just had it her entire life. thankfully i no longer have it.

OMG. I saw this right after the Grammys. I was in total shock!!! There is NOTHING funny about that. Imagine if that was one of your friends or family memeber (a person that YOU LOVE). It wouldn’t be funny then would it? Thank GOD she is doing well. My prayers go out to her family, friends, and co-workers!!!!

She could have had a TIA ( trans eschemic attack) also called a mini stroke which resolves quickly. She should go and see doctor and get lab work done and further tests.

  • Adriana

    It was frickin’ hilarious

  • katielane

lol don’t you worry honey, its called nerves and we all get it (apparently she got it hardcore). soon someone else will do something more bizarre and we’ll be talking that and forget this moment.

i saw this live last night and i thought i was having a stroke of something , good to hear she is doing better and it’s no laughing matter … people who laugh at this are not very attractive or smart !!

  • Zoe Moon

Thank god she is ok! I was so worried about her.

  • Lily

I thought she was high on something when I heard the news but after watching the video, it’s like she’s about to have a stroke. She talked like some people who are recovering from a stroke. Geez. She’s a pro, so it can’t be nerves.

  • Kmar

Even professionals have nervous slip ups. She got twisted and panicked. That is all.

  • Bikey

I really hope it´s nothing serious:(

  • Paul

Anyone who thinks this is funny clearly needs their heads examined.

I’ve observed somewhat similar behavior with my mother. She was subsequently diagnosed with TIAs and strokes. One stroke left her blind.

Please take these warnings very seriously. It could be a matter of life or death.
