@laverdadduele: It’s not a remake.

@emily: It’s the name of the comic the movie is based off of. What kind of title do you want? “The Man Who Was A Spider” or “Spider-Man: Reboot”?

I’m fed up with remakes too !

You people are all dumbasses. The title is perfection, The Amazing Spider-Man is the title of Spider-Man’s longest running comic series, since 1963. It’s the title fan’s have wanted for years. But you all wouldn’t know, cause you’re not fans.

i cannot believe garlfield is what they come up with. find a american who can act not figly andy ugh.

@sunbears1: Hilarious.

The picture is really amazing.But that title name sucks.

Emily, The Amazing Spider-Man is the name of a comic book series. Do your research before you start making ignorant remarks.

This franchise is hungry for greatness. This is the time to rebuild the franchise. They should utilise the villains and love interests that weren’t included in the previous films and give us new stories. Times change, we need to change as well.

I hope they will include the following love interests in this film series and leave Mary-Jane Watson out of some more films after the first one:
Liz Allan, Betty Brant, Debra Whitman, April Maye, Michele Gonzales, Jean DeWolff, Jessica Drew, Lisa Skye, Marcy Kane, Angelica Jones, Felicia Hardy, Sarah Rushman, Carlie Cooper, Norah Winters.

I look forward to seeing the following villains in future sequels:
Beetle (Abner Jenkins), Carnage, Chameleon, Electro, Enforcers, Hammerhead, Hobgoblin, Hydro-Man, Jackal, Kingpin, Kraven the Hunter, Morbius, Mysterio, Rhino, Scorpion, Shocker, Silvermane, Spot, Tinkerer, Tombstone, Vulture.

This is a second chance to get it right. This is an opportunity.
