Sofia Vergara shows off her amazing figure in a beautiful Boulee dress on the cover of Shape magazine’s March 2011 issue.
Here’s what the 38-year-old Modern Family actress had to share:
On dealing with stress from beau Nick Loeb‘s car accident: “It was hard for us because it happened in the middle of the most fun, sexy time. And then he was in the hospital, and you know men, they become such little babies!” But throughout the whole ordeal, Nick never once got depressed, in fact, quite the opposite. “He kept his sense of humor despite the situation,” says Sofia. “I don’t know if I could have stuck it out with him if he hadn’t been able to laugh at himself and be happy even under the worst conditions. When you see people in difficult times, that’s when their true nature comes out.”
On what she does to work out: “Oh, I hate it! But I also know that at my age – I’m almost 40! – I have to do it to maintain my figure. When I can, I try to do Latin dancing for exercise because it’s so much fun and I just love the music. Two hours before I go [to the gym], I’m already wishing it was over. I psychologically fool myself into believing it’s part of my job. And then, of course, once I’m done, I’m really glad I did it because I feel so good.”

Oh so if her boyfriend had become depressed after such a horrible accident (which wouldn’t be surprising) then she would have left him? Sounds a bit cold. It’s when people are in the worst situations that they really need love and support, maybe she should think about that.
i hope that first quote was weirdly edited, because it just sounded odd and kind of made sofia look bad. sofia is always full of positive energy and life whenever she’s interviewed, but that quote was weird. “it was the worse because it happened in the middle of most fun, sexy time.”? or, it was the worst because he was severely injured and it was scary? plus, everything that @Frida: said.

I think the quote came out wrong. sometimes when people think in other languages, when they convey it in English, it doesn’t come out quite right…And that happens to Sofia a lot. My first language is Spanish, so, I can totally relate to that.
She would get very upset if you even whispered that PuertoRicans were Latinas because Ricans are descendant from slaves and Sofia told the world that she is a natural blond because real Latinas can be blond unlike PuertoRicans like JLO who dyes her hair blond, dyes her skin white and continues to slenderize her nose to look like Jennifer Garner…the winner!

Where in the world did she say she’d leave him if he was depressed? It’s amazing how a person’s personal prejudice can create the biggest lies just so it correlates with what they already believe. Ugh.
@whatevs: I have no opinions on Sofia Vergara whatsoever so don’t try to make it out like I’m some kind of hater. I’m merely looking at what she said; “I don’t know if I could have stuck it out with him if he hadn’t been able to laugh at himself and be happy even under the worst conditions.” Maybe she didn’t mean it like that but it sure sounds very cold to me.

I agree with Frida’s posting ~ Sofia’s quotes come off very badly here. It sounds as if she is saying his accident interfered with her “fun, sexy time” and she implies she would have left her boyfriend if he had become depressed. Hopefully, she was misquoted here, as I really do like this actress. She usually comes across as funny, warm and kind … which I’m sure she is.

Her body is gorgeous!! I saw on E! News last night that she takes Physique 57 classes. I might have to get myself their DVDs since I don’t live in the US and can’t take classes :(
