This might be an unpopular opinion but I definitely think Thor should have been Alexander Skarsgard.

Movie looks like it is going to suck even with that cast. Dialogue sounds super cheesy and the special effects don’t look like anything special.

Thor looks like Dr. Zaius from Planet of the Apes, and yes this movie will suk big time!

The comic geek in me says Thor is not supposed to look like Thor when he’s in human form. Donald Blake/Thor’s alter ego in the comics had a regular build and walked with a cane and did not look like Triple H from the WWE!!!!!

    This movie looks cr-a-ppy already!!

I see Thor and I think of Fabio saying “I can’t believe it’s not butter”.

Natalie has pimped out every bit of this pregnancy to get attention for her movies. Now her is the sex of the baby as we talk about Thor.
Wonder will we see pictures of the baby as another movie comes out.

I don’t think this movie is going to do very well, even though I like most of Marvel’s stuff, especially Iron Man, no comparison there intended.

I’m glad Natalie is on this movie and i believe it’s her first big budget action movie since star wars

I don’t even care if it sucks, the Danish/Norwegian blood flowing in my veins says “watch it!” Big muscly viking looking dude…although I agree, I would have gone with Alexander Skarsgard because he’s actually Scandinavian.

From the trailer (my first exposure to this movie in any way) it’s going to suck very very hard.
As a longtime Thor reader–from the sixties– I had high hopes for this movie.. oh well.

This movie will not suck with regard to $ in the theaters. There are a lot of teen-20 something who like this type of movie. Can anyone say Transformers?

Please people, it’s a COMIC book character based film; you want great dialogue and meaning, go see another type of movie. The movies that DO have great dialogue and plot are poorly supported in the theater most of the time. So all those people saying they want those type of movies must be laying.

I agree with the first poster. Thor should have been Alexander Skarsgaard. He would have made a waaaayyy more interesting Thor than this beefed up Aussie. He’s not even cute. He brings a hickish quality to it. I will still see the film at some point, so hopefully Hemsworth will prove me wrong.

I still don’t know if it’s worth watching
