Hailee Steinfeld attends a press conference for her film True Grit on Thursday (February 17) in Tokyo, Japan.
The 14-year-old Oscar-nominated actress has just landed her next starring role in the upcoming adaptation of the novel Forgotten, according to Deadline.
The book, which will be released in June, is about “London Lane, a 16-year old whose memory is erased at 4:33 every night. The following morning, all she can remember are events from her future. After meeting a new boy at school, London becomes frustrated that she can’t seem to find him in her memory of things to come.”

I really think this girl is something special. Not only is she talented, but she is extremely gracious, mature, and sweet in every interview she gives and always talks about how much she learned from her co-stars and the directors, not focusing on herself. Honestly, if at 14 I had the amount of attention bestowed upon me as she has, I don’t know if I would’ve been as down-to-earth. I think the funniest interview she had was with Jimmy Kimmel when she was pretty indifferent to the whole presenting with Justin Bieber thing, but remained polite during the entire time Kimmel was trying to make fun of the fact of how she towered over him.
Sounds like a really interesting concept.
