Hugh Jackman walks the red carpet with wife Deborra-Lee Furness at the 2011 Oscars held at the Kodak Theater on Sunday (February 27) in Los Angeles.
The 42-year-old Aussie actor wore head-to-toe Ferragamo to the show – Hugh hosted the Academy Awards back in 2009!
As Hugh and Deborra walked the red carpet, they ran into Nicole Kidman and hubby Keith Urban and posed for a few shots together!
FYI: Hugh is presenting at tonight’s ceremony!

Ms. Furness – yikes. that photo has an unfortunate angle. looks like she is pregnant with feathers. definitely does not photograph well.
Kidman – beautiful woman who usually shines at these events. that cut around her hips is very unflattering. awkward sharp angels. i’m surprised she would choose this. the embellishment is complicated but doesn’t add to the effect of the dress, just seems superfluous. the thick red strap of that shoe doesn’t go well with effect of the dress. and the long jagged bangs seem a bit in the way.

Love the Jackmans and the Urbans but Mrs. Jackman needs a stylist. She never dresses well, she looks dowdy. I love Nicole’s dress. She has a body that can pull this look off.
I gotta hand it to Hugh’s wife! You’ve really gotta know how to pull strings to get outfits from Miss Piggy’s closet made in human size.
I’m not saying she’s unattractive – quite the opposite. But seriously, doesn’t her dress lok like something Miss Piggy would wear? One of the fancy Broadway scenes in “Muppets Take Manhattan”!

It looks like she killed Big Bird’s white cousin and attached the carcass to the hem of a black trash bag.
It’s especially horrifying and sad when you think about all those other actresses and wives of actors who wear haute couture gowns on the red carpet … instead of shapeless black sacks designed to attempt to hide a frumpy, bumpy body.

I think Deborra-Lee is a lovely, honest woman and I’ve seen that stole before at other black tie events. She actually wears things more than once and devotes a huge amount of time to charities. Unlike many famous people she isn’t terminally self-centered.

Whoops just like Deb’s wardrobe looks like my comment has been repeated. LOL
i see Deborra-Lee on the streets here in NYC. i have to tell you that she is extremely kind to Hugh’s female fans. she’ll even take the picture of her husband and the fan together. she’s a real down to earth aussie without a pretentious bone in her body. as for she wore at the oscars, well that’s the kind of thing she always wears. why should Deborra-Lee pretend to be someone she is not?
to be fair, that feather thing Deb is wearing is just a shawl and not a dress. Love them both!! they are both so genuine and truly great people. I hate the way people say things about oh, hugh could do better but honestly, can he really? They are meant for each other.

Debra is old and had no plastic surgeries. Her body is like majority of 50 something years old woman….not in good shape. What can she wears??? This black dress that covered her whole body is right for her. She can do without the feathers. I think she looks nice considering the type of body she has.
