Michelle Williams - Oscars 2011 Red Carpet

Michelle Williams arrives at the 2011 Oscars held at the Kodak Theater on Sunday (February 27) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old actress is nominated for Best Actress for her role in Blue Valentine!

Michelle dished on the red carpet that motherhood “plays into everything that I do.”

As for what she tells her 5-year-old daughter Matilda about her job, Michelle said, “The answer changes according to what it is. For Blue Valentine, she didn’t really ask.”

FYI: Michelle is wearing a white beaded Chanel Haute Couture gown, Harry Winston jewels, and Jimmy Choo‘s “Cosmic” platform pumps.

Not a fortunate dress for her body shape and it makes her look fifty.

not like the dress. she looks like fifty..

Nothing is wrong the dress…but she doesn’t flow. She looks so sad and I don’t think she’s “enjoying” the whole festive event. It’s as if she’s physically present but she’s not in the game. She looks like she’d be happier in a Whole Foods examining fruit.

    Chelsea Says:

Disappointing. But I guess nothing can ever compare to that mustard-yellow dress (on Heath’s arm).

UGH! She needs to smile. She has a healthy little girl and she’s at the Oscar’s and nominated! Did anyone else see her interview on E!? She was so rude.

She’s got to be the most boring person ever. Her interview on E! made me want to sleep. One word answers, keep it classy Michelle. If you don’t want to be there – don’t go!! IMO Ryan should have received the nomination anyways.

@ Liz: I totally agree! Guess people relax. She looks stunning, and I love her make-up so flawless. And I don’t think she was rude, she might just have been very nervous : remember the last time she was at the Academy Awards she was with Heath – that cannot be very easy for her.

she looks good, very chic but she’s done this icy blonde look to death. i agree she doesn’t look very happy but no one really knows what’s going on in her personal life but herself and the people close to her. she reminds me of nicole kidman after her divorce as far as the demeanor, beautiful but aloof in a somber way :-/

She was acting like very strange in the interview with Seacrest. Is she on drugs or just a weirdo?

I absolutely love her style, she is beautiful and i loved her simple look, it worked and it wasnt over the top, it was just right. she is lovely! people are so mean, maybe she was nervous, thats why she wasnt the exact person everyone wanted her to be! get over it! I love Michelle! She is my favorite actress now and forever, way to go Michelle and congratulations!

    @FU:

OMG AGREED. that interview it sounded like she had forced a fake accent? idk normally shes sweet but she was such a twat in that interview. idk what the problem was.

    Gem Says:

She probably just doesn’t like Seacrest and I don’t blame her. She is so cute with longer hair and I can’t wait until it grows out because I don’t think this short cut is flattering to her round face. Love her acting though.

Ms Barleo Brad Pitt Fan Says:

I think she is FLAWLESS. The best dressed of the night. I love how she is not FAKE and comes as she is. All the haters need to step back. Michelle is hands down the most beautiful on the red carpet and at the ceremony. End of story!

    Jancey Says:

This is the first time I’ve thought this, but In these pictures I can get a glimpse as to how Michelle will look when she’s maybe 20 years older (referring to her face). She’s pretty, but something about how she’s ageing seems to give me the slight illusion as to how she’ll look whens she’s around 50. I know that sounds weird and I can’t accurately describe it, but does anyone else see that too? I guess that means she’s not aging well. She still looks around her age, but seems to have lost that fresh youthful glow about her.

It doesn’t help that her figure looks great for a woman in her 50′s, but not so hot for a girl in her late 20′s. She needed a dress that would creat the illusion of much needed curves.
