Reese Witherspoon hits the red carpet at the 2011 Oscars held at the Kodak Theater on Sunday (February 27) in Los Angeles.
The 34-year-old Water for Elephants actress wore a black and white Giorgio Armani Privé evening gown with Neil Lane jewelry. The strapless dress features a white silk band at the neckline and a subtle train.
Reese will be presenting the Best Supporting Actor award during the ceremony.

Kind of plain and boring dress.
well that is very sixties, isn’t it? the dress would be much too boring without that hairdo. but by wearing her hair that way she has made it into something. this is something genuinely new, i haven’t seen someone do that before. nice risk. she must be in a playful mood. isn’t feeling exceptionally elegant thought. a bit of a downplay for oscar night of all nights.
the choice of emeralds adds a dash of color that is much more interesting that diamonds or pearls would have been.
im not digging this dress.
I really like the dress but her hair just doesnt do it for me. It reminds me of Nancy Sinatra in “These Boots Were Made For Walking”.
