As much as I love him on glee, I don’t like this song. I can’t really judge him because I’ve never heard him sing before this, but damn this song sucks. The first few lyrics sound like they should be on Sesame Street. This is kind of embarrassing.

This is a great song! Way to go Matthew!

Liz the fact that you’ve never heard him sing before this is actually YOUR embarrassment, not his. I feel so sorry for you. Go outside and get a life. Please.

this was better then I expected and I had pretty low expectations.. He has a voice both girls and women can love like JT meets Robin Thicke but it was really good I cannot wait to hear more of the album. He is banking on his glee fame but truly glee won’t last forever so why not do something like create a new album he’s got the voice and can dance.

@liz: What makes it my embarrassment? I have an OPINION and do have a life. I just don’t like this song. What’s so wrong about that? Not every one has to enjoy it. Nor do I have time catch glee every week and see him perform. Thanks for feeling sorry for me, but I don’t know why you would. I love Matt, but just not this.

I like this song too, I think his voice doesn’t really shine as much as it should with these lyrics, so I do understand why some people may not like this. Anyway I heard him singing with Leona Lewis and he was fantastic!

@liz: Haha, I actually thought that too.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this song! It has an amazing calypso beat to it, will buy this song in an instant! Such a suave, sexy, smooth voice to go with it, makes me feel like I’m being serenaded on a tropical island. I can listen to this song again and again. Great job Mathew!

Not my cup of tea, but I still love him! This song sounds kind of tropical! But not as great as I was hoping it would be :/

I thought I would like this because I look up to him as a singer but I don’t like this song. He is talented though.

Awhhh man! I want to force my self to love this song because I have the biggest crush on him. I had high expectations I guess :(
Still love you MATT :D

LOVE IT! When will it be on itunes?

Love it! When will this be on itunes?

Average. Next!

this song is awful!

I honestly don’t think it’s bad, love this song!

sounds like an original glee song for PedoWill.

I think he’s trying to go for a Jason Mraz type of feel, but it’s not working. The song is actually pretty decent, however his voice on the track, while great, is too “broadway” for me. Not saying it’s bad, but it doesn’t sound natural. If Jason Mraz sung it, I probably could dig it.

I agree with ^Deena. His voice doesn’t sound like a good fit for pop; it fits more with broadway. It’s too clean, if that makes any sense.

This song is god awful. It’ll be huge in europe but not here.

Sounds like a failed Jason Mraz song…I’m really disappointed, especially because this guy actually has some talent. The song is uninspiring and the singing is unoriginal. I can’t see this guy giving successful concerts, let alone a world tour, based on this mediocre song…But stranger things have happened to even less talented singers.

The first time I heard it I wasn’t too fond of it but after a second listening it has really grown on me. I’ll download it when it comes out.

I really really wanted to hate this song because I can’t stand Glee but I actually enjoy the tune. I’m curious to see what the rest of the CD is like.

Ehh, it’s alright. His voice just doesn’t suit this kind of music.
