OlderKaty Perry: 'Firework' Duet with PS 22 Chorus on Oprah!
Katy Perry makes a surprise appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Oscar Special on Monday (February 28) at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.
The 26-year-old singer joined the kids of PS 22 Chorus on stage as they sang her hit song “Firework”!
“Today was such a beautiful day. PS 22 & Oprah made ME feel like a firework… refocused me & reminded me of my purpose. Thank you,” Katy tweeted.
The night before, the fifth graders from NYC’s Staten Island, closed the 2011 Oscars with their own rendition of “Over the Rainbow.”

The kids were doing fine by themselves, and then they brought her out with that awful voice!
Nothing against Katy Perry, but I wanted to just hear the kids. We can hear professional singers any time, but when will we get to hear PS 22 choir sing again? I hope they put out a CD.
Just proves to me that when not auto-tuned most singers out there today cannot sing worth ****. I also prefer the kids by themselves.
why can’t this dumb ***** learn to sing why is it so hard for her to at least do that
