OlderPenelope Cruz: Disney's Belle in New Annie Leibovitz Pics
Penelope Cruz and Jeff Bridges take on the roles of Belle and the Beast in a new image shot by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.
Also participating in the new “Let the Memories Begin” photo series from Disney Parks are Olivia Wilde as the evil queen from Snow White and Alec Baldwin as the Magic Mirror. Queen Latifah posed as Ursula from The Little Mermaid!
The photos will appear in special inserts in April issues of O, The Oprah Magazine; People; People En Espanol; Real Simple; Essence and InStyle.

Penelope Cruz is just beautiful i dont know about jeff bridges as the beast but it works , whats up with mostly the evil people where are the other disney princesses ?

Cartoons now are either japanese made or pixar 3D .. Id take the classics over this new sh** any day.

lol of course Olivia Wilde is the evil one. She has that cold look like Megan Fox! Penelope is warm and princessy. I love girls with dark hair/dark eyes, they melt my heart.

@iknowiknow: Couldn’t have said better myself! Olivia has this exact same COLD look that Megan has. They’re perfect to play the evil b!tches. Oh and Angelina Jolie too. Angelina would be a perfect Maleficent. I still have to wonder what evil queen Megan could be. Anyway…. I love that Ursula’s representation, it’s amazing. I love those pictures, they’re always amazing, even though other celebrities could be better for some characters. I think Penelope is gorgeous but I don’t really see her as ideal for Belle. She’d be a better Jasmine. Belle has a softer look that another sweet girl like Anne Hathaway or I don’t know….. any beautiful actress with brown hair and dark eyes :) Still love that picture though ! Anne Liebovitz (sorry if it’s spelt wrong) always makes a great job with those Disney images. Julianne Moore was a perfect Ariel. I just wish they’d take a gorgeous actress to be Pocahontas, I mean seriously, Jessica Biel?!? Ugh. I could be a better Pocahontas, actually. *rolling eyes* I know she has native ancestry but she doesn’t “look” like it. A gorgeous Native woman would be perfect. But the problem is there’s not many beautiful Native actresses out there. I know none actually. Too bad. ….. Oh well, I’m talking too much right now. Just giving my honest opinion!
Although I think Jeff Bridges and Penelope Cruz are very good-looking, I’m kind of disappointed because Anne Hathaway looks like the real-life version of Belle and I always wanted to see her dressed up as the character. Seriously, just look at her oversized Disney-princessesque features. Plus, she already has a relationship with Disney, so why not? As far as guys for the beast, I think Garrett Hedlund looks like the human version of the Beast. Still love The Dude though.

Actually I didn’t mean it like that. Penelope is proud to be Spanish and Disney should have a latino princess. Marrion Cotillard could have been Belle. Or someone who looks more like her.
