Adam Lambert: 'American Idol' Performance on March 10!

Check out the cover art for Adam Lambert‘s song “Aftermath,” which will be released on March 10!

The 29-year-old singer will return to the American Idol stage to perform an acoustic version of the song during the show’s results episode on Thursday (March 10).

Immediately following the performance, “Aftermath” will be available for download on AdamOfficial.com with proceeds from the sales going to The Trevor Project.

Adam tweeted, “In order to fully benefit the Trevor Project, the remix will only be available on my site. Will be on iTunes eventually. :)”

Although I’m not a fan of this song, I get why they chose this particular track from the album for The Trevor Project.

I think his next album is going to be heavier with more rock and less electronic production….that’s what I think anyway.

I WOULD STAN FOR HIM IF HE MADE MORE MUSIC LIKE ‘IF LOVE TAKES OVER (Kelly Rowland / Guetta) or ‘HAPPINESS’ (Alexis Jordan / Stargate) or songs like ROBYN’s stuff.

Synthpop or dance ballads with PURE production like Sia’s music.

His personality and voice is addictive but he should definitely try out the above genres of music and production IF HE WANTS A BIGGER MAINSTREAM AUDIENCE…………x

Idol is actually good this year….lovin’ the boys. Last year was a dull catastrophe.

@V: who do you like so far?

So excited to see him perform this on AI. This song was one of a few on his album whose production I did not like (the other being Loaded Smile), but I LOVED the acoustic version he performed on the Glamnation Tour. It was ethereal and strong at the same time. I will be tuning into Idol for the first (and probably last) time this year just to see him perform that song. I hope the remix version sells well since it’s for a great cause.

Looking forward to the release the Glamnation Tour dvd/cd this month as well.

@DEADMAU5: I completely agree with what you said but I blame his label. When he’s more established he should run away from them.

Can you imagine if he released Fever and had Gaga cameo in the vid???? It would have f*n blown minds but instead his label suggested he release IIHY & FYE? Both these songs were ok but the album was a lot stronger! It happens with a lot of artists but it’s balanced out with an amazing vid and none of his singles have had amaaaazing videos yet. They all had potential. I think this guy is so special and has the full package he’s a superstar in his own right but no one has made full use of his potential to help him shine alongside all the other amazing divas of this industry.

@Ben: Casey Abrams, Jacob Lusk, Paul McDonald — and someone else who sadly didn’t get in :’( but I won’t name just in case some people haven’t watched the results yet.

I love him a lot but what a shame they wasted a chance to release one of the GOOD album tracks for this corny song..
