OlderNeil Patrick Harris: 'How I Met Your Mother' Renewed!
How I Met Your Mother has been renewed for another two seasons. Looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of Neil Patrick Harris, Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Alyson Hannigan, and Cobie Smulders!
“HIMYM picked up for 2 more years!” Neil tweeted. “Yahoo! With so much job security, I should buy something extravagant. Like a pony. Or some gold teeth!”
HIMYM premiered in September 2005, has been one of CBS’ top-rated Monday comedies, and is currently in its sixth season.

NPH is an amazing actor and he’ll have tons of opportunities once HIMYM ends. Furthermore, the idea that gay men have to play gay is ridiculous. It’s acting. Get over your homophobic tendencies and stop being a jackass – that is all.

I know they’ve been saying we’d see the mother but I have the feeling we won’t, just like Charlie in Charlie’s Angels, or just a glimpse in the last episode… It would be cool if Robin and Barney ended up together IMO.

I’m guessing it will be another season of them messing about as a group and then another season of meeting the mother and what not. I just wonder how Jason Segel feels about this. As he said in a interview he didn’t know what he could add to Marshall and felt like he needed to try something new. Oh well HIMYM is awesome and this is good news!
