Emma Roberts Covers 'Women's Health' April 2011

Emma Roberts bares a bit of her toned tummy on the cover of Women’s Health magazine’s April 2011 issue, on newsstands Tuesday (March 15).

Here’s what the 20-year-old Scream 4 actress had to share:

On acting: “I’d love to work with Gwyneth Paltrow. I love her. She’s like my idol.”

On a pole dancing workout: “I started taking classes with friends as a way to both work out and hang out. You don’t realize how much upper-body strength you need….It’s also a good way to build confidence.”

On being healthy in Hollywood: “A lot of women feel like they have to eat healthy to be skinny, but [for me] it’s not about that.”

You expect me to believe she healthy?! Funnily enough I think they added weight on her when they photo-shopped this picture, after all this is supposed to be a health magazine. Trust me, Emma Roberts has no curves!

“A lot of women feel like they have to eat healthy to be skinny, but [for me] it’s not about that.”? Does she even EAT healthy food?

  • Sun

for her it’s about vomitting the food.

I actually like Emma, but I think it’s really weird they put her on the cover of Women’s Health. And no, not for some b.s. “women should have curves” type reason…women come in all shapes and sizes. Gwyneth Paltrow, Doutzen Kroes, Jennifer Garner, Cameron Diaz, and Ashley Greene all have rectangular thicker-waisted bodies (with variation in boob/butt sizes obviously) but they’re all fit. I think it’s weird because it’s pretty obvious that she’s just naturally thin and doesn’t exercise. She has that skinny, untoned body-type like Kirsten Dunst, Rachel Bilson, Avril Lavigne, Taylor Swift. The kind that doesn’t come from working out, just from genetics and possibly eating moderately. Besides which, that cover is awkward….that outfit looks like it’s from the early 2000s and usually for fitness/health magazines (as opposed to fashion or general women’s mags) the cover model smiles.

Did you know she is related to Julia Roberts? What a funny coincidence.

Just the fact that Gwyneth is “like” her idol speaks volumes to this brainless twit. This picture makes her face look more like a boys face than Justin Biebers. And yes, Emma, it was always very obvious that people need a lot of upper-body strength to do pole dancing. Duh.

  • Cammie

Of she loves Gwyneth..another snobby, family in the business actress…

  • Kate

Will Justin Beiber be on the cover of Men’s Health?

  • Zoe

    1) I think she is pretty!
    2) I think a 20 year old is a woman, not a girl.
    3) I think she is wrong for a fitness magazine, she looks like she does not eat!

  • little

okay, so a woman who has no curves is automatically not healthy and doesn’t have a place in a fitness magazine cover?

  • mailey

    she seems fake.
    over-privileged.
    condescending.
    dont like her.
    julia seems much more down-to-earth.
she should take a cue for her.
