Love It she is really good. Doesn’t sound like auto-tune, sounds more like talent!

Very talented. Check out ‘Mama Mia’ – she can actually reach all highs and lows.

She has a lovely voice, it’s not the first time we’ve heard her sing (Mamma Mia, Dear John).

She wasn’t acting so much in Mean Girls…

Why are all these people surprised that that she can sing? Have you guys not ever heard of Mama Mia?

I love her rendition. She is doing it sort of tongue and cheek, but adds just a touch of melancholy to make it poignant. The way she does it reminds me of Mandy Moore’s ex, Greg Laswell, singing a cover of “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.”

The meaning of the song is changed by the style of singing. It takes a special kind of talent to come up with such an idea as well as to perform it.

@Bubbaness:

I couldn’t disagree more! She has transformed a silly pop song into something really touching! That takes artistic talent.

There is actually another 70s cover version out there of this song that is really rock n roll which I absolutely love but I’m not sure who it’s by. This version, however, I also absolutely love because she brings so much soul and vulnerability to the song, whereas the original was silly and the rock version had a much more dirty vibe of the wolf praying on red riding hood. It’s nice to see a completely different take on the song and she has such a beautiful voice. Just wish she’d dump that douche Ryan Phillipe now!
