Benjamin Bratt will be joining Private Practice as a series regular next season, according to THR.

The 47-year-old actor will first appear on this season’s finale and his role is being kept under wraps.

Audra McDonald recently announced that she would be leaving the show at the end of this season in order to spend more time with her family.

Benjamin has previously starred on television in The Cleaner and Law & Order, as well as in a guest spot on Modern Family.
