Carrie Underwood: Tribute to George H. W. Bush!

Carrie Underwood looks picture perfect at the Points of Light Institute Tribute on Monday (March 21) at The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

The 28-year-old country star, in an Herve Leger gown, was one of a handful of stars who helped honor former President George H. W. Bush for his work in promoting volunteerism in America.

Carrie will soon head to Las Vegas for the Academy of Country Music Awards, where she’ll be performing.

She’s also nominated for Top Female Vocalist of the Year at the ceremony, which airs live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (April 3)!

Tribute to Bush ,what a joke

You read my mind. As for Carrie Underwood, Well someone should entertain the simple minds of people living in the Appalachian mountains
and racist hicktowners.

Her husband didn’t attend with her. No surprise there.

G. Bush is being honored?????? that makes me a little nauseous.

The event was nonpartisan and 4 living presidents were in attendance: Presidents Jimmy Carter, George HW Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W Bush plus President Obama had a taped message. It’s meant to highlight volunteerism.

Really like Carrie’s hair. Looking forward to her upcoming performances! Thanks for posting Jared!

Bill Clinton was honorary cochair for the tribute. This isn’t a partisan event, it’s about honoring volunteerism in America. The focus was especially on everyday people and the good they do. I can’t wait to see the show on TV Monday (8PM NBC).

Not a fan of hers, like her even less now.

Boo, fake *****!

Shut up , a bunch of losers, who don’t even know that it’s the 41th President not the 43rd that was honored , and these are the same losers who voted for the Hope and Change dope..

How’d you like your 2 and half years of over 8% unemployment first time since 1930, and $3.75 gas , healthcare that costs 20% to 25% more after Obamacare was passed, a new war in a Muslim country after he added in 09′ 75 thousand more troops in Afghanistan and 5 trillion added to the national debt that was 10 trillion and only took 250 years to get there, lucky for Americans Obama did also a much debt in 2 half years …

George Bush is a piece of ****

netstarman @ 03/22/2011 at 8:50 pm

Everyone bashes Bush but for a major screw up like Obama who has just collapsed this country into oblivion, Obama is a toad, scum bag president who shouldn’t even handle a door **** because he is so not even qualified to run a lemonade stand. at least Bush asked congress for things that need to be done. Obama just breaks all the rules and cost this country more and more money.

Beautiful country singer!

@MR B the only piece of s-it is you.

You couldn’t even lick former Governor of Texas and former President off the United George W Bush’s boots, and it was his father being honored, you know Reagan’s vice President for 8 years and the President before Bill Clinton, the one that got impeached,

Carrie Underwood, looks beautiful, love her skin and hair these days.
