@wolf2: You’re not seeing the bigger picture… when a country like Japan which has the 3rd largest economy gets devastated like this, the economy of the WHOLE world gets affected. Besides, what if you were them, wouldn’t you want help?? If your house was demolished but your neighbors’ were not, shouldn’t your neighbors help you out of compassion even if they have their own problems?

I would like to say something to” Me Me Me perosn” in the U.S.

Some people are objecting to sending monetary or relief aid to Japan, claiming that Japan didn’t even help the United States after Katrina. That’s blatantly untrue, or terribly uninformed.

The Japanese Foreign Ministry announced it would provide $1 million in relief aid to Katrina victims, and the government also donated $200,000 to the Red Cross immediately following the hurricane. Private Japanese donors gave more than $1.5 million and Japanese companies with US operations gave $12 million towards Katrina relief.

What’s happening in Japan right now is a tragedy of worldwide proportions, and luckily, I think most people here in the U.S. and around the globe understand that and empathize with the plight of the Japanese.

Have you done anything for the Statte and your country before? I guess you haven’t. That’s why you feel like this way…

CD is for dontion for Japan, and it doesn’t matter I have their CD already either.

I knew that attention whore beYAWNcy would get in on the cd. She’s always trying to be the center of attention. I wished she would just go away, literally. I’m so sick of her, she wore out her welcome for 5 years. No one is more annoying that she is.
