    I wish Kiefer Sutherland would do more mainstream movies. He has done some great films in his time and shouldn’t just be remembered for 24 and playing Jack Bauer. He was huge to me long before 24 began. He is an underrated actor. So, I hope that he does more movies with more leading roles, tries to reach his full potential as an actor and tries to win an Oscar.

    no kon tiki film for alex Says:

    well atleast alex is smiling in this film even though it is only for the film, that’s more than we ever get when he is with GF KATE WORTHLESS!

    and alex is no longer being considered for Kon Tiki (wheather it is down to TB filming schedule?)
    twitter via @skarsgardnews
    alex on kon tiki “he let the project go”

    I really do hope alex has some rumor projects in the works, I have heard nothing.
    however his brother gustav has scored a part in the movie. well done gustav, I have always found gustav is taken more serious as an actor than alex!

    Gustaf Skarsgård lands role in Kon-Tiki!
    “according to producer, no longer current, the choice finally fell on a Norwegian actor”
    web • 7/04/11 6:51 PM

    Gustaf will be in the new “Kon-Tiki” movie, he will play Swedish Bengt Danielsson, says dad Stellan Skarsgard as VG met him in Trondheim in connection with Kosmorama Festival Monday.

    Bengt Danielsson was the only Swedish aboard Heyerdahl’s “Kon-Tiki.” He was an anthropologist and was the expedition’s translator since he was the only one on board who spoke Spanish. Danielsson died in 1997, 75 years old.

    The film’s producer Aage Aaberge says he can neither confirm nor deny the news Skarsgård’s participation. It can not Skarsgård’s agent Agency:

    - You will follow, next week we know more, “said Aleksandra Mandic agent firm in Plant Haber / Source / Mandic.

    Gustaf Skarsgård is currently topical cinema in Norway, as punishment ange in one of Stalin’s Gulag camps in Siberia, “The Way Back.” 30-year-old made his first small film role that is already nine years old in 1989.

    Since then he has been involved in include the blockbusters “Arn” and the comedy hit “Patrik 1.5″. “Kon-Tiki” is his first major role in a Norwegian film. He had a small role in Torun Lian’s “Not nude” from 2004. Gustaf therefore follows in dad’s footsteps Stellan, who has a number of Norwegian films on the resume, most recently with the acclaimed “A very kind man.”

    Secrecy surrounding who will play the main roles have been mostly of the “Kon-Tiki,” directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg.The names are not yet released, but the casting should be as near as clear.

    Speculation has been around a long time who will play the main role of Thor Heyerdahl. Gustaf Skarsgård’s brother, “True Blood” star Alexander Skarsgard (34), was long highly topical for the role, and handsome are photographed at a cafe in Los Angeles while he read the script for “The Kon-Tiki.”

    He is, according to producer Aage Aaberge no longer current, and director Joachim Rønning has confirmed that the choice finally fell on a Norwegian actor

    - Heyerdahl will be speaking Norwegian in the film. It has been decided, “said Joachim Rønning the AP in December.

    All the actors in “Kon-Tiki” presented at a press conference at the Kon-Tiki Museum on Tuesday 12 Bygdøy April.

    The plot of “Kon-Tiki” takes place in 1946-47, and is based on the expedition, Thor Heyerdahl led to confirm his theories about the migration in the Pacific. The film will have a budget of around 90 million.

    1. it’s an Lars von Trier movie; 2. Alexander Skarsgård plays in it ; 3. Stellan Skarsgård plays in it !!

    Nelly Fang Says:

    I wonder if Alex regrets his choices now, he will forever be marked as that guy that played a vampire. True Blood has overshadowed Generation Kill, and it was GK that garnered him the most praise for acting ability (TV wise) True Blood is ruining his career, though it probably seemed like a good idea at the time.

  24. 24
    kiki Says:

    @Nelly Fang:

    LOL!! Really? True Blood is ruining his career? ! He has more fans now than ever and his acting on TB is always praised. You must be one of thse nasty Purse forum women, always seeing the worse in Alex and always wishing him to fail. All because he dared to date a thin woman.

    Nelly Fang Says:

    @kiki: I carry a wallet, Sweetness.
