Rooney Mara: Girl with the Groceries

Rooney Mara takes her pet pooch for a walk on Monday (April 11) in Los Angeles.

Earlier in the day, the 25-year-old Girl with a Dragon Tattoo star stocked up on groceries and picked up two smoothies from Whole Foods.

Late last month, Rooney and co-star Daniel Craig filmed scenes for Dragon Tattoo in London.

Rooney is sporting a short jet black ‘do while she continues work on the film playing Lisbeth Salander!

Noomi Rapace was a great Lisbeth, I believe. I’ll reserve my judgement til I see the Hollywood film but do have my doubts she can pull it off. Hope for the best and good luck to Rooney.

I hope that they include more Americans in the cast in the sequels. It would be good if they also cast Hollywood’s most famous Swedish stars such as Malin Åkerman, Dolph Lundgren and Lena Olin.

@Lorraine Greene: Dolph would make a good Ronald Niederman for the 2nd film “the Girl Who with Fire” 20 years ago. He’s too old now and his face is too defined for that role, but I’d like to see that happen.

You’rw absolutely right. He would have been the perfect fit 20 years ago.
He was offered the role in the Swedish movies, but turned down the role.
Good decision, he still looks good, but def. too old.

OMG David Fincher let her to take out now: it’s nice after 6 months of filming

Ugh, one movie I will NOT be seeing. Rooney looks awkward; I don’t think she can pull off Lisbeth Salander like Noomi Rapace. Poor girl, should have passed this role up.
