Older'Glee' Cast Performing Rebecca Black's 'Friday'
The cast of Glee will perform Rebecca Black‘s “Friday” in an upcoming episode of the show, JustJared.com can confirm!
The Ark Music Factory tune, which quickly became an online sensation, has racked up over 101 million views on YouTube!
“It might be one of the best songs they’ve done yet,” a source tells JustJared.com.
FYI: “A Night of Neglect,” an all-new episode of Glee, airs on Tuesday (April 19) at 8/7c on FOX. Here’s the synopsis: “Proving that birds of a feather flock together, when another under-the-radar club at McKinley High needs helps raising funds, the glee club signs up to help. But when Sue hears about the show of support, she moves quickly to put a kibosh on it. Meanwhile, relationships are tested and big decisions will be made.”

If show mocks it ala Colbert and Fallon, then I’m interested. But there has definitely been a downward spiral in song selection, so this doesn’t surprise me.

That little picture of Rebbecca Black is sooooooooo freaking annoying. Makes me want to explode something or punch someone. When I think of that brat I think of that stupid smirk she has there. Thought I would just say this as to not cause mayhem. I don’t want to be on the 11 o’clock news!

Too bad for Rebecca…this will definitely take away from some of her sales. Sems like Glee’s just all about selling records now.
Wow…I really like GLEE, but this is definitely not something I am looking forward to seeing. That song is HORRIBLE! Bad lyrics, bad voice…just plain bad! If they make fun of it, then maybe it will be funny, but I agree. They need to start choosing better songs and better artists to showcase.
