Jessie J: I'm Glad I've Had to Struggle

Jessie J rocks a Dolce&Gabbana leopard print dress in this new shot for Interview magazine.

Here’s what the 22-year-old British singer/songwriter had to share:

On not minding struggles: “I’m glad I’ve had to struggle. It’s made me the artist I am now.”

On making music that means something: “I’ve been surrounded by male egos my whole career and sometimes just wanna go, ‘Oh, f— off.’ I’m going to make sure that each song is more than just ‘I’m in the club, shaking my booty.’”

Jessie J is amazingly gorgeous. This sensual young woman is indescribably beautiful. She’s a really sweet girl. I like her.

# 2

not pretty but very talented why is it that the talented ones are not beautiful for instance gaga not soo pretty but britney is

# 3

I HOPE YOU STAY IN AMERICA YOU OVERRATED PRETENTIOUS BASIC C*NT

I really LOVE this girl! And whomever calls her ugly must be blind! The girl is very pretty and has the most beautiful eyes. She will have a very successful future and making a bigger name for herself down the line. She deserves to be so happy and have lots of babies. Really lovely girl.

And I thought P!nk’s new music was bad lol.
She is probably the worst artist in the charts right now.

I WISH SHE WOULD GO AWAY @ 04/14/2011 at 1:00 pm

….Ain’t about the (yeah) Ba-Bling Ba-Bling…..

KILL ME NOW

I’m sorry but she is SO annoying.

Struggled? Is she kidding that pretentious twit? SHe is 22, was on SNL before her album was even out, and gets all this publicity while other REAL singers struggle years to get anything and she thinks this is struggling? What a cow. Get lost. And she sucks.

saw her on the today show or one of those morning shows, GOD my ears were bleeding! she sucks live.

@2

There are many beautiful talents….Shakira…Beyonce….Nicole Scherzinger…Carrie Underwood (+Pia / KatMcphee etc)….Kylie….Blondie….Alison Sudol…..Amerie…Alicia Keys….Shania Twain….I’d even include gorgeous girls like Katy Perry because I don’t consider her talentless (she sings live, writes her own lyrics & plays guitar).

I don’t hate Jessie J but she could never in her wildest dreams hypnotize audiences, dance or perform like this

http://youtu.be/OfPH6WgBAWg

so don’t be slamming the princess of pop please. Brit may not dance like she used to but she was effortlessly iconic in her prime. I don’t see Jessie J in the game in 10 years time.

there are many real singers struggling to make a name for themselves

this smug skinny white bish is full of ‘ish imo. the only good thing about her are legs that have got her where she is today polluting my airwaves and tv screen

irritating.. @ 04/14/2011 at 1:26 pm

I can’t stand s people who say BS like

“I’m real”
“I don’t take myself seriously”
“I’m glad I’ve had to struggle”

She has a song about how she’s not about the money which features in demand rapper B.O.B. to make the track “hot” so it’ll get played, “not about the money” BULLSHIT!

‘struggle’ ? Please, you’re 22!!!!!!!!!!

I hate this pretentious artists… do you ever hear Brad Pitt saying, Oh, Im glad I worked as a chicken cuz it made me who I am? No! Cuz he is not glad, it was a phase in his life but that’s it… there is already an “im the next coming-of-jesus” crap girl in this world… she’s called Lady Gaga… who are you again?

Nasty people here… She “struggled” with health issues – Quote: Jessie J has had an irregular heartbeat since the age of 11, and also suffered a minor stroke at the age of 18. As a result, she doesn’t drink alcohol or smoke. Jessie said: “At 11 I was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat. I had wires put in my shoulder, groin and heart to try and zap it to a normal rhythm, but it didn’t really work. Then, at 18, I suffered a minor stroke. It was scary, but I’m fine now. Having bad health has made me realize I can’t take anything for granted and I must look after my body.”, end quote.

Also, the girl’s been writing songs since she was 8 or 9; her song, ‘White Room’ was written when she 10, in hospital & the boy sharing the room with her (scheduled for an operation) prayed… Later she found out that he had died.

Do some research before you let your hatred out.

Great Artist!!
Alot of jealous people on here saying ****..Just makes her look better..lol
Sure she had to struggle..and sure it makes her stronger..She is doing it her way and she is amazing.
She has nothing to defend..Only to ignore all the jealous B***..

Jessie J do your thing. If people want to buy your music or see you that is there business. And the haters should keep their thoughts to themselves.
