Pia Toscano: New York City To Los Angeles

The 22-year-old American Idol contestant did several interviews while in New York City. On the Today Show, she said, “I’ve tried to spin it in a positive way – that this is God’s plan,” Pia explained of her elimination. “It’s a blessing in disguise. It’s opened so many doors for me, so I have no regrets whatsoever.”

Pia would not confirm or deny rumors of getting a recording contract. “Well, I’ve been so busy that we really haven’t talked about anything yet,” she said. “We’re just focusing on the (upcoming “American Idol”) tour right now. And whatever opportunities come my way, I’ll take it!”
