Jillian Michaels Covers 'Shape' May 2011

Jillian Michaels shows off her fabulous bikini bod on the cover of Shape magazine’s May 2011 issue, on newsstands Monday (April 18).

Here’s what the 37-year-old Biggest Loser star had to share:

On eating things that aren’t necessarily good for her: “I give food a number on a scale from one to 10. Ones are superfoods and will practically cure cancer, like organic spinach. Tens are crap that could kill you tomorrow, like a prepackaged cupcake. The highest I’ll go is a five or six. For example, I adore Popchips. They’re 100 calories a bag – no preservatives, no trans fats, and no artificial sweeteners. Is it a superfood? No. But will it kill me? No!”

On her own trouble zones: “There’s this one dimple on the back of my butt that’s like a cavern. I swear to you, it’s just un-friggin’-believable! No matter how thin I get, I still have cellulite. I’ve tried every cream. I’ve ironed my ass at the plastic surgeon’s office with a laser – nothing worked. I’ve finally reached a point where I accept my flaw, but that doesn’t mean I feel good about it.”

On being proud to be in therapy: “I’ve been seeing a shrink since I was 5. I said to him the other day, ‘How am I still talking to you? Why am I not the Buddha at this point?’ But it does help control those behaviors that can send you to the fridge or compel you to tell your boss to shove it!”

On being ready to be a mom: “While filming Losing It last year, I lived with these amazing kids. It was such a powerful experience for me. I recognized that I have a giant hole in my life, and it was the deciding factor for me to adopt a child.”

When you see on the news what is happening in the world….and then…

“There’s this one dimple on the back of my butt “.

# 2

Given the obsession with airbrushing I’ll take her ‘fabulous bikini body’ with a pinch a salt.

# 3

Awful Photoshop.

You know what? She might be right about foods. We do need to be more careful about what we eat and be aware that processed foods are very bad for us. But then I read about her being upset at the “dimple” on her butt and the cosmetic procedures she got to get rid of them and I roll my eyes. Seriously?

The old saying still goes for me…you can any food “in moderation”. To totally cut certain foods out of diet is a boring life. She is more concerned about having the perfect body for people to be envious of. Who cares about dimples and cellulite….just live and enjoy life.

@annab:

LOVE YOU! You are so right.

Her torso looks abnormal. Looks deformed. Not a pretty body shot.

some of the worst photoshop work ever….looks really fake, nobody’s torso does that, i don’t care who you are and how fit you are…she should sue

Nothing I hate more than vain, superficial people, especially women. If this is the only problem she has in life, she’s lucky. And nothing will change that ugly face or aggressive attitude she has.

I’m sorry but this woman should not be granted an adoption. She once said she didn’t want to have a child because it would damage her body. Her narcissism would not be right for her to have a child around. Loving gay parents are on a regular basis denied adoption, but people like this are the ones that get kids with no hiccups. That alone is disgusting.

She can cover the dimple on her butt, now her face is really hard to look at.

Although she is good at what she does (getting people to push themselves to lose weight) I never cared for her and this is why. She’s complaining about a tiny dimple on a spot no one sees and even had plastic surgery to try to remove it? Wow. I like her idea of numbering good and bad food, though. It’s a good idea. With that said, I will probably be dead by tonight…dangit.

“I accept my FLAW.” HAHAHA! Is she implying that her butt dimple is her only flaw?! Please take a look in the mirror honey, that is the least of your worries!

Most of you people commenting are so jealous of her she is beautiful and she is an amazing person and to the person who said she shouldn’t be allowed to adopt you are a b**** you have no right to spew your garbage on who should or shouldn’t be able to have a child. The only reason she didn’t give birth herself is because she can’t! You must be one of those woman who can’t lose fat after child birth why don’t you just go run on the treadmill!

Photoshop fail?! :|

LOL You guys are an angry bunch. Why are you all so angry all the damn time lol? It’s like you allow people to comment anonymously and they project all their hateful feelings about themselves and everything around them. You know what’s worse than photoshop? the nasty attitude and sadness some if you carry around.

@s:
Actually, if you knew your facts, she is unable to have kids:
“The reality is that I have endometriosis, and I most likely couldn’t get pregnant. I’ve had the X-rays, my tubes are closed, the uterine lining is too thick, blah, blah, blah. I was ashamed about it because I thought I’m supposed to be the healthiest woman in the world, and what does this say about me if I can’t have kids of my own. It was insecurity, which I have to work on.”
Also, everybody is self conscience about something, whether they are shredded or not, that’s life.
Don’t be so judgemental, we all see ourselves differently than others see us.
